Another great video, just an FYI, I know you don't always like to replace parts but the joy con rails and also the thumb sticks are super simple to replace and may have been quicker than trying to get all those fingers to line up.

yeah, Vince. same happened to me this week with my synth. a milimetric corroded contact between a small transistor. it's great to fix things so easily ! and the fault-finding is also great. keep the awesome work, and hoping you can get the love of a cat soon 🙂

I bought a small swan neck UV light from ebay and it works great for curing solder mask, the clear mask hardens incredibly quickly. I even made a small shroud for it but a 3d printed one would be better.

Vince's complaint about the UV mask sounds like his uv light isn't strong enough to penetrate. Get a UV curing lamp.
