  1. I'm sure I've said it before, but thanks for all the great free information you and all the other great teachers provide. Such a wealth of knowledge. I'm 58 and I absolutely hated high school. Until I got into the trades. Then surprisingly I became an "A" student. I seriously love the trades and think its a great alternative to a four year college.   2. I don't understand how taking a low pressure (vapor line) reading at the condenser translates to the pressure in the evaporator. Why is it not industry standard to take low pressure (vapor line) reading at the evaporator?

  3. sadly most techs will hook up and immediately say it's good or needs refrigerant because companies are so focused on getting techs in and out as fast as possible. Most expect a complete diagnosis to be complete in 30 min max preferably less.

  4. need tips and tricks to determine if a system has a piston or txv. Sometimes on UNCASED coils it is impossible to remove the front of the field made cover to get a look.
