  1. 2:01:00 The two dropouts don't know they should have been taught about policy and secrecy in college.
You should not work on computers if you don't know about ethics and professional secrecy.
It summarizes as: Stay out of anything you don't need to be in, and if you really need to go in, be prepared to not have seen it.
And before someone says "blabla", I'll quote my own local laws: Article 458 penal code says "… and all other persons who because of their state or profession carry knowledge of secrets confided to them, are bound by professional secrecy." => If you are confided access to a computer, you are bound by this.

  2. @LTT any way on your store to have a "Canadian" Price displayed, not just a US, i don't quite understand the US to CAD conversion, so if we can add that to the site, or just the cart section when selecting a canadian province, would be fantastic! Just a suggestion.

  3. 1:39:20 Linus YOU appointed the least English-capable and at the same time most childish grownup in Canada to make those ads.
Apparently he has free reigns to do what he wants.
So don't be surprised if they are badly written and "silly".

  4. My name is Steve and I have html for dummies from the late 90s early 2000s. I support this website.
Ps don't buy a book on html(took mine from my grandpa) instead just right click inspect source of simple sites (or myspace) and just start making changes at random untill you learn what your edits did.
Ofcourse save and view as your own offline document to actually see your changes

  5. @ltt, regarding windows updates and finding new updates after all updates done.
Could it be that some updates have dependencies and wont show up until after certain updates have been installed?

I mean, I agree that it is stupid but technically my theory could be the reason.

  6. That's it, Ah ha! mr Rhexx's evil capitalistic empire that sends everyone to the freedom of workman ship is… going to be a thing far and away from team LTT in canada!!! No less, what is the most elementary form of D&D that you all want to play in D&D elemental?… caugh caugh … D&D elementarybug that guy!!! C'mon!! Are ya'll ~mental normal elements~!!! Be wary of Mr Rhexx's silver sword!

  7. Luke if you wanna play with one of those long ass printers i could invite you to my friend's print shop in Seattle. He'd definitely want a blue screwdriver, though. You could make a video about the printer, being shocked at every module.

  8. 27:38 "This is so cool"
No, it's creepy. They can turn those devices off whenever they want.
Can you imagine a moment you need your phone, and then a malicious person switches it off?
Can you imagine a moment you need your phone to be off, and then someone turns it on?

  9. On the gun topic, I think a lot of people don't realize just how advanced 3d printed guns are, for example, the FGC-9 is a gun made entirely from plastic, easily makable metal parts, and normal screws and springs you could find in a home depot. Its semi-automatic and takes Glock magazines. On top of that variations that make it completely legal to make and own in the US already exist. It is as advanced as needed to be a possible issue, that being said this law is the dumbest way to go about banning them I've seen.

  10. I think y'all are absolutely drawing a false equivalence between handmade weapons and 3d printed parts. One requires materials knowledge and the skill to make something one requires you downloading a file and pushing print

  11. As a new Yorker who recently bought his first 3d printer I am unhappy with the potential for this law, genuinely making me consider buying another bigger one before the law comes into effect so I don't have to worry about upgrading later.

  12. I dont believe the Twitter dollar fee will be effective for the bulk of the spam and scam bots.

It will keep the script kiddies fromserring up a bunch of bots, but for thr big bot companies and state backed propaganda bots etc the dollar is irrelevant and they will work around the credit card requirement pretty easily.

What this will do is give Twitter your credit card informatiin and normalize paying for Twitter.

Musk has basically said he wants to make Xitter into the western WeChat. And a big obstacle in working towards that is getting people to think of it as a place to pay money.

  13. Absolutely no-one: "I really wish Apple could remotely turn on my iPhone so that they can 'Update' it because I totally expect my over-priced disposable phone to be out of date before i even buy it."

Apple exec 1: "Wouldn't it be great if we had access to our customers phones around the clock to do whatever the hell we want with them."

Apple exec 2: "Lets just bait them with this totally unnecessary 'feature', that always works."

  14. It's funny that you mention mac updates being seamless, and I'm sure I'm the exception, but every time I update my work mac, it dumps me in the bios and I have to go through some repair process, so I have to stay and watch it for up to half an hour. If I let it go overnight and have to work remotely the next day, I definitely won't be able to get back in.
