The notification history feature mentioned at 6:18 is not a Nothing feature… pretty sure that's just an Android feature?
Swiping down on the gesture bar for notifications was also mentioned. This one I'm not clear if it's a base Android feature or just something Google added on Pixel devices, but it's available in the one handed mode settings.
I like it already but I think it has a lot of really good potential. So many of its components could have counterparts that even Nothing themselves good sell – like imagine them selling the removable backs but as metal or another camera to replace the depth sensor 😂. They’re definitely going in the right direction with this one.
The review seems like a paid ad. The knob part was purely a gimmick – nothing special about this phone or it's accessories.
Here in Japan, people put their phones on lanyards all the time! Especially popular with business people and younger women.

This is a phone for your parents, not you. Hence the lanyard. Cheap because your parents don't need the heavy apps. Same OS as Nothing Phone 1/2 so you can help them troubleshoot.
It kinda reminds me of the Nokia button phones my parents used to use 20 years ago. They had removable plastic shells that could fit both the front and the back, came in different colors, and could be purchased separately at a cheap price. Pretty nostalgic, actually! ❤

Not having an NFC is a huge deal breaker because I use it all the time. I don't know how much it would have cost to have an NFC feature built in.
I thought the modular would finally mean a lego phone. Buy the base with minimal features and then you can buy say camera block, battery block etc and upgrade as with time
This is the phone I wish Google Pixel became. The pixels now are just… meh
I just ordered one, I've been waiting for an interesting budget phone to buy, upgrading from a honor10 I bought 6 years ago !
If this had a swappable battery I'd buy this phone as a backup.. for sure.

The magsafe like festure is quite interesting and clever. For 200 bucks compared to a low end iphone, I could see how that would potentially poach pespective budget iphone buyers.
I just watched your Samsung unpacked event before this video, but I won't lie, I'm more intrigued by this phone than what was introduced by Samsung. 🤔… Nothing seems to be innovating more than other phone companies.
Add nfc and I'll buy it.
The kick stand seems cool, but as someone whos been using cases with built in kickstands, it makes me wonder why you wouldn't just get a phone and then get a kickstand case
I know sales have been crazy good but I just don't understand it not having NFC like that's a deal breaker in my books 🙈

So I don’t care about removable batteries at all. But why make the back removable and not also just make the battery also removable? That’s rather silly.
The world is not equal economy everywhere, and its very nice quality products are produced with affordable prices, for those who are ok with the trade offs. ❤
