The game cost more than $40 in Australia. It cost $90 in ridiculous for a game that is garbage that no one wants to play it’s a knock off of Guardians of the Galaxy

I played it, and coming from Overwatch, I had much more fun with the game than I thought I would. I thought it played nicely (on PC; ironically on PS5 the input lag was unbearable), and I actually liked it more than Overwatch. But the game is really suffering from lack of marketing, along with the fact that on the surface it's just another Overwatch clone that nobody really asked for. If it had some kind of PvE, I think that would've really helped fill the hole Overwatch left, and then more people would gravitate towards it so that it could grow. But unfortunately, without that, I don't think it's going to matter, even though it's reasonably fun.

Having a live service shooter be exclusive to ps and pc was the first mistake.
Theyre losing out on so many frustrated OW2 players on xbox.
I didn’t particularly like the game but I never had an issue finding a match for any of the modes on PS5.
overpriced and there are dozens of free to play and better made games. id rather give my money to POe and indies before id waste the money on concord.

I had a lot of fun playing it over the weekend! I even made a friend try it who was expecting to hate it and he had a great time as well. The characters that weren’t just straight forward clones were pretty unique and interesting to figure out how to play. That being said $40 is still steep for this.

That's just on steam though It's not marketed towards steam. It's marketed for PlayStation personally. I love this shit out of the game as somebody that can't get into OverWatch or them type of games personally

Am no genius but if I was Sony or firewall i would have done what uncharted 4 did, have a story mode and a MP as well with paid cosmetics if they really wanted to go that route. The story don’t have to be long hell it could have been shorter then COD but that would have made sense with the $40 price tag. I personally enjoyed the game didn’t have issues with matchmaking at all but players kept leaving mid game so it kinda sucked but other than that it’s an okay game.
Price is not the issue, time is. There's too many great ways to spend your available time (non-gaming included). A time-sink live service game have to be absolutely mind-blowing amazing to be even considered.

Idc if the game is even fun to play, none of the characters except that somewhat generic robot look cool/interesting. Yeah, they look unique, but unique doesn't mean good.
I think developers are starting to realize that if everyone makes a live service game then there’s simply not enough players to go around.
As someone who loves shooters, there's a reason I go back to Call of Duty all the time. The feel of the game matters.

The game is $40, is going to have microtransactions, has less characters, less customization, and worse gunplay/teamplay than Overwatch 2 and Paladins which are FREE. I played about 2 games on each character and after 4 and a half hours I was already just done 😂
After Overwatch 2 and Suicide Squad scorching the earth with terrible live service shooters i dont think Concord had a chance and it might be good but not in this climate.
To charge $40 for a game and a micro transaction store, your turning off all sorts of players. Make it free to play and keep the micro transactions.
What saddens me the most is that we could have gotten like 5 Astro bot or Gravity Rush size games instead of this pile of shit…
If the developers of Concord have a legitimately good story to tell, they completely missed the opportunity to make a PVE campaign that could’ve probably put Overwatch 2 to shame after the cancellation of the only feature that justified that game’s existence
Played the open beta over the weekend. Was pretty fun. Longest queue time I had for that game mode was like 2 min. I wholeheartedly agree though that 40 bucks is a steep price. If they wanna get more people they should just make it a f2p live service game with micro-transactions. Or at they very least just make it 20 bucks.

Forgoten basic of capitalism is that something worth is not driwen by how much you are asked to pay for it but how much you ate willing to pay for it and im not willing to pay same price for this game as i payed for Helldivers or Remnant 2.
