  1. This has everything to do with the City mayors, they are the 1 allowing this. It’s been happening on Miami Beach for over 20 years. The politicians are behind us they’re pocketing and making money.

  2. This kind of thing will be a problem everywhere for everybody who lives in any kind of a high-rise …stacked up on top of somebody else this kind of stuff is going to be coming to New York eventually and the Democrats are probably behind all of it these people are voting for financial suicide. Republicans would make the management companies be held reliable because they should have been appropriating maintenance fees and upkeep all along to prevent such a hostile takeover Democrats just do not care.

  3. as much as I hate hoas and such this is pure criminal! This is mostly just a money grab! Of course with the loominy deadline everyone is also going to jack up their bids and this will cause such a backlog as everyone will attempt to repair at the same time! This is really a mostly unnecessary calamity imposed to shear the sheep. I feel bad for the legit people that live in their homes (condos) and are now ruined.

  4. Is this the outcome of weak regulations, lax inspections and general greed for decades? Yes. So, now what? Ignorant, lazy, corrupt business, inept political culture and the sands of time have revealed the corruption of 30 years. Is it fixable? I doubt it.

  5. You’re missing the real culprit, which is Black rock State Street all the hedge funds that’s who owns the property management companies. They own HOA association they own the real estate companies they own the insurance companies, which is really who’s doing all this they own the banks that aren’t approving the refi they own the banks that are that are approving the construction money they own the construction corporations. They own the government officials they own everything and that’s really the problem. It’s not really estate investors I’m a real estate investor we don’t do shit like that. It’s absolutely necessary but this is 100% hedge fund and this has been a plan for a long time. That’s why the insurance companies pulled out of Florida and won’t insure condos. This is all part of the whole scheme! we are experiencing a hostile takeover of America even our politics from hedge funds

  6. To ever buy any water front property in Florida ever again is a losing investment. I’ve worked on the water in south Florida for the past 30 years and have watched the steady rise of sea level . Your property or the streets to get to your property will be under water in the next 20 years .

  7. What isn’t mentioned here is that some of these condo HOAs put off repairs for so long because residents can’t agree on repairs. They complain they’re on a fixed income or that they will be dead by time it’s a problem.

  8. Desantis is in the pocket of Florida land developers . He is taking state parks to make golf courses . His buddy Rick Scott already took the Florida beaches from the people and gave them to Rich landowners . They’ll find a way to take everybody’s homes and rent them back to you for double what your mortgage rate is

  9. Material's deteriorate over time. however, there are buildings over 100,200, 300 years old around the world. the problem is the poor quality materials chosen here and the money stolen by hoas and management companies

  10. You'll own nothing and be happy” is a phrase that originated from a 2016 video by the World Economic Forum (WEF). It summarizes an essay written by Danish politician Ida Auken. The phrase has been used by critics to accuse the WEF of wanting to limit private property ownership. It has also been used by critics of the subscription business model and software as a service.

However, one article argues that the prediction should not be interpreted as a vision of a future without individual ownership. Instead, the authors argue that ownership is a prerequisite for happiness and supports personhood.

There is also a book called You Will Own Nothing: Your War with a New Financial World Order by Carol Roth. In the book, Roth discusses how the agendas of Wall Street, world governments, and multinational corporations work together to reduce the power of the dollar. She also argues that owning fewer assets makes you poorer and less free.
