That’s not cheating, that’s attention to detail!
You can "plate" it with solder. Flux, heat, solder, and schmear. It ain't chrome but it almost is.
I will guess you are not the first person to hug that toilet like that! Great plumbing, by the way.
And then he caught the wall on fire
House flooded as a kid from one of those getting broken off while cleaning behind toilet, no one home knew where the shut off was, luckily a neighbor came down to Assist, and it ruined carpets throughout the house days before Christmas. Had all the carpets tore up with huge fans running around the clock under them trying to dry the flooring underneath.
Great job bro but stop taking peoples negative comments to heart. 😂
Go quarter turn next this I wish these valves didn’t exist 😢
Looks brand new. Nice job!
Metal to Metal, Plastic to Plastic, easy to destroy threads on a fill valve with metal to plastic. Never really see supply lines wear out or break before fill valves.
Besides, those split-ring escutcheons never look very good and don't snug up to the copper.
Why not just put a compression valve on?
Hell yeah!
Good work!
Added bonus.
Looks like shit
Wow that old angle stop looks terrible. The finished product looks really nice too! Thanks for the Video!
Well done. Nice to see great work!
Replacing the escutcheons doesn't pay me any extra. Fuk all that noise
Toilet supply with METAL nut!!! BEST insurance for avoiding disaster. The ones with the plastic nuts should be BANNED!!!
A+
Love it!
Sorry but i keep getting these videos for plumbing but i never got whatpaste they smear over the vinyl tape when screwing the header. I understand that on PEX it's glue, but is it also glue for the vinyl or extra insulation grease?
Good job, I use the quarter turn angle stops too.
I was about to say pretty damn good braise.. can't just sand down lumps etc.. we havnt been allowed to soft solder for decades in aus.
I think that copper is going to corrode and look ugly again if you don't clear coat it. That's what I think.
