House flooded as a kid from one of those getting broken off while cleaning behind toilet, no one home knew where the shut off was, luckily a neighbor came down to Assist, and it ruined carpets throughout the house days before Christmas. Had all the carpets tore up with huge fans running around the clock under them trying to dry the flooring underneath.

  2. Metal to Metal, Plastic to Plastic, easy to destroy threads on a fill valve with metal to plastic. Never really see supply lines wear out or break before fill valves.

  3. Sorry but i keep getting these videos for plumbing but i never got whatpaste they smear over the vinyl tape when screwing the header. I understand that on PEX it's glue, but is it also glue for the vinyl or extra insulation grease?
