Gotta give Toys for Bob a big thanks for being a part of my childhood. Played thru every Skylander game as they released and definitely contributed more to that 3 Billion dollar franchise than I'd like to admit lol

I wish a team like TFB with their love, passion and imagination for a series could have had free rein with the Banjo-Kazooie franchise. Could have been so good.
Remember when people celebrated Microsoft buying Activision? All because we were going to get more crossovers, because we were going to have cheap games on Game Pass, and also because a bunch of games were never going to be released on PlayStation ever again and we would laugh at the ponies.
Xbox fanboys hoped for the latter and got screwed, because now Microsoft is releasing games on PlayStation, pretty much ending the console wars, it's like Activision bought Xbox.
I warned them that companies buying each other is bad for the customer, and they didn't listen to me, said I was just a whiny and envious Sony fanboy, I don't even play on PlayStation.
Y'all realise it's not actually cancelled, right?
It was just the news and a bunch of posts on Twitter that got a lot of people confused, and ofc, news stations aren't entirely reliable when it comes to Crash news.

Man… I work in film, with my dayjob in TV as an editor, and it shouldn’t be surprising, but it’s always unreal to hear just how stunningly stupid the executives are in any given industry other than my own. The sheer idiocy of Activision-Blizzard’s so-called “management” of Toys 4 Bob is absurd.
There’s a level of disconnect and ignorance that the average human being can only aspire to… eat the rich.
So, means that we are going to have another 15 years round of no Crash platform game… sh*t… seriously, the success was here with the trilogy, people were really looking a number 5 i guess. Crash 4 was very good, but sh*tty friends should have been left behind. One Crash gameplay is clearly enough. The rest is just to fill up empty spaces.
People want the pure essence of Crash, the same as for the 3 first games.

Crash team rumble probably wasnt bad game, but such a miss in the intended audience… you made hell a game for single player only, precise platform and collectaton, then you make a pvp, team fighting/moba game? I don't even know what type or genre it is, but it was obvious it will be exteremly nishe game… eh I just want Spyro 4 so bad : /
Hopefully Xbox is able to respect and revive these franchises again in the future. Sounds like the best thing to happen to Toys for Bob was becoming an independent studio

While I am sad there is no Crash 5, I want an actual sequel not a Psychonauts clone.
I rather have spyro comeback in a brand new game of his saga, rather than in someone else's saga. It's like bringing back rayman in a mario game, its stupid by the diehard fans are too blind to find it stupid

It breaks my heart knowing there was a plan to create a Spyro/Crash hybrid. The GBA games were fun but a full fledged experience would have made my inner child sooooo happy.
Crash returned so well with 3 straight games that were good only to die again. What a letdown.
Crash team rumble was doa. Super shallow gameplay and not very fun. The original crash 5 sounded interesting but towards the end if it going to be a crossover with spyro, this game belongs on the cutting room floor.
I´m so pissed now. Fuck Activision!

Crash Team Rumble was fun for a time. Just wished it didn't require a PlayStation Plus membership to play. Sony really dropped the ball there.
