  1. I definitely want to see more of The Menagerie. From what I've seen here and in the rulebook, you guys have got a great system you're building. It manages to weave together concepts and mechanics I've seen and loved across other RPG systems, and does it pretty well.

Having built an insane mess of a crossover RPG setting (involving mostly Shadowrun and the Dresden Files with a LOT of other stuff folded in) using FFG's Genesys ruleset (because I tried to make a Shadowrun character in the then-current edition and decided not to inflict a 6-hour, 2-spreadsheet character creation process on my players), and having run a campaign in that setting, I have to say it made me inordinately happy to see Genesys listed as one of the inspirations for Daggerheart.

  2. What a fun intro one-shot. Would love to see more of this Menagerie! Would love to see more of their backstories be part of arcs if possible, like a trip to their hometowns or making it to Kexon's destination. They could even just be their own one-shots, but I feel like there's a campaign in the works, even a shorter one.

  3. I donโ€™t not like it. And any dole-played story run by Matt and cast with this crew will be engaging. But it seems like the game
is too complex for me and my friends to run it. Not to play it. Playing it with a good GM is an enchanting idea. But to run it…not so much. A wonderful game presented by a wonderful cast… but where lesser mortals can run 5e, it just seems to me yoy have to be more like Matt to run this one.

  4. This seems like a really good system and I loved everyone's characters, you were all really exploring the space. But given that there is no Ashton I instead have a Fuck & Fack counter for Xarlo.
Xarlo Fuck Count: 2 Xarlo: Fack Count: 4

  5. Damn, everyone feels so fresh and spontaneous in this game, it gives me the best of the early Campaign 1 vibes!

I love all campaigns, but the livestream plus novelty of the system for everybody is just great ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. I'm loving the Daggerheart system so far and looking forward to more of the Menagerie, I've been looking over the ancestries and the description of the Clank ancestry got me curious since they can be the form of inanimate objects can they be made as sentient weapons like swords and daggers? I'm really curious to see just how far the form of this ancestry can be taken.

  7. Everyone looked like they were having so much fun. Would love to see The Menagerie come back for future sessions. Maybe a new sessions every other rules update? Definitely got to see some higher level play ๐Ÿ˜›

  8. Please do more of this! It is important for the playtest

A lot of us donโ€™t have a group to try daggerheart out, seeing how the game plays will help us give feedback about what we like and what not

  9. The way experience actually matters is so cool. I love these experience lines, "sneaky little mushroom" or "look Mom, no hands" and how that provides a plus 2. Such a good idea!!!! GAME CHANGER!!!

  10. I would like to propose a project called Matt as Player. A series of one shots with Matt as player. Especiall with Travis, Laura and Ashley as GM, as Matt hasn't been player when they GM yet.

  11. Moneys, insects, turtles, fungii, frogs and fauns YES this is Fantasy! I always pick the least human looking character. Hard choice between a wizard stag beetle or praying mantis for Travis ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. I love Critical Role but this was a little to childish for me. I know its an oxymoron to say a game is too childish but it was too ''Toad of Toad Hall' for me. As a young girl in the U.K we were made to read the books and it was way too English for me (I'm Welsh) Was relieved as we got older to read Tolkien, Dylan Thomas, Etc. The best thing about C.R are the relationships, the slow burns.

    Don't fucking @ me.
