  1. So Duck Hunt checks which duck you hit by flashing a sequence of frames that just have dots on them and if the controller sees the dot, it hits the duck. If the light gun is held at a distance where it can see the whole screen, it's going to hit the first duck it sees. This would explain why you keep shooting ducks you're not pointing at.

  2. I had that same spiderman 3 one, i loved that thing until my dog ruined it, on the construction site fight, you can hit the fire alarms to stun lock venom and there's water pipes you can break to stun lock sand man

  4. 33:55 check out the sinden, retroshooter, gun4ir, samco/openfire… There's definitely quite a few ways to play lightgun games nowadays…. The issue is that there is only those old games to play with, which isn't a problem for me in particular because I never played those so it's all new to me.
Aimtrack is a waste of money, loses tracking constantly you're better off with a Wii Remote and a gun attachment.

  5. I already see all my childhood tv games I still have on the thumbnail. Spongebob, Spiderman, and the Mega Joy, but the Mega Joy got thrown out pretty fast.

  6. When I was a kid my friend had a Lord of the Rings plug-n-play, and it was really interesting because it used motion controls (via a sword-shaped controller) before the Wii was a thing. Unfortunately, if anyone remembers the nightmare of trying to get the right gestures with the sword in Skyward Sword, it was a lot like that, except for some ridiculous reason every character had their own motion and if that character wasn't in the party at the time, and the sensor decided you were trying to do their motion, it would go "Legolas isn't here right now!" and we'd be standing in the living room going "I KNOW DAMN IT"
