  1. I couldn't get into the first game, I didn't mind the difficulty, but the management systems didn't quite click with me, but I could definitely understand the appeal. I did try this one, and despite the messy UI, and brutal RNG I've found myself having a more enjoyable time, I can see this being a fun hardcore roguelike for long trips I got to make for work.

  2. Tried the first one three times and gave up all three after 2-3 runs. I loved the atmosphere and the gameplay but the difficulty is too high for the way I wanted to play it , casually, like other roguelike deck builders

  3. I finally got around to finishing the first one and it was quite the experience. I've heard some mixed opinions about part 2. BTW, my go to build for the hardest parts was 3 Armored Old dudes casting dodge and the Bleed Guy with the whip.

  4. My main concern was the UI. I tried to get into the first one, but the UI on console is terrible, really seems like it wasn't designed with a controller in mind. So I've been looking forward to this and hoping that the UI would be better, and it at least LOOKS a lot better, but I'm bummed to hear the UI specifically called out. I'll have to watch some more gameplay šŸ¤”

  5. I really like the tone and aesthetic, but I was already overwhelmed by the first game šŸ˜… Maybe this is my sign to actually sit down and put some effort into it. Great review btw!

  6. One thing all games and I mean ALL GAMES need is the ability to do your own key bindings no matter what. This looks fantastic btw, I own the first and never touched it so this may light a flame under my butt to start it to get ready for the 2nd

  7. I put sooooo much time in the first one and I only scratched the surface. Just recently took a break but Im going back in to finish it so I can jump onto this! Its looks absolutely amazing.

  8. I bought it today. it was 15% off until release time. It's 1:00 AM and I'm still finishing some work. I have not played the game yet. Adulthood sure sucks sometimes lol

  9. Haven't played the first so not overly excited for the second, however, its great to see there is still a little love developers have for the current Switch. I'm saving what little cents I have in the hope that Hitman Blood Money eventually sees a physical release or massive sale on the eshop. Looking forward to the next SwitchUp video, cheers gents!

  10. Started the game today and i'm having a blast. Love the new bite-size runs with meta progression formula. DD1 is excellent but the lengthy campaign felt too punishing at times.

  11. With the free Kingdoms expansion coming. I wonder if they'll hold back the Physical to include both Binding Blade and Kingdoms on it? Kind of like how the Physical of the first one (like the Ancestral Edition) includes the expansions on the cart.

  12. That sounds interesting. Keeping the core but trying new things so it really feels like a new game. It's not a thing everyone can do and get away with, but the ones who can, well all the better.

  13. I was really hoping DD2 would fix the overkill RNG that could absolutely demolish you, despite your best preparations, and make it feel like you're at the whims of things other than your skill, and it doesn't sound like they addressed that. Thanks for the review!
