  2. 50 years ago, when I was in High School my friend had a 1948 chevy pickup with the half round glass on the corners of the cab. We made a replacement using a heat or hot air gun and molded that curve to fit the metal opening and the rubber gasket that went around the original glass. It worked great. His dad was a Independant Trucker and had some really cool tools. That 48 body was placed on a 1972 ford bronco chassis with the 302 4 bbl. Homemade traction bars and Crager chrome rims and fat tires on the rear and skinny almost stock tires on the front. The floor of the cab was stained T & G Oak flooring material and had a 4 speed manual tranny. Bucket seats. We used to go down to a road by a stone company put liquid bleach on the rear of our tires and do some smokin' burnouts. I miss the 1970's…….I had a 1966 Dodge step side with the slant 6 and 3 in the tree (3 speed manual tranny on the steering column) for you Youngin's who don't know that phrase.

  3. Sooooo ive learned from many moons of driving that a dirty windshield spreads the suns ray around like a spiders web with mist. I drove a mixer for 20 years and trying to back another truck into a spot with the sun in his mirror was usually impossible. I always had a dry rag and we had water on our trucks. I kept windshield and mirrors clean 98% of the time. Plastic shield dont rub it with sand on it . πŸ‘βœŒοΈ

  4. Poly….what? Polycarbonate is impact resistance and won't melt until you get to about 240 degrees F. Depending on the thickness it can be bullet proof too! Hector, hopefully you drilled out the bolt mounting holes just slightly bigger than the attaching bolt diameter size. Plastics expand and contract with heat and cold. Also, a rubber "plumbing" washer same diameter as the steel washer on both sides of the mounting hole and a Nylock nut on the bolt. Don't ever over tighten. Hope Shawn's buggy doesn't flex where that windshield is mounted, or it will crack. We are glad Rory found you.
Make a decal for Ol' Blue Drivers' side Roar-y? It roared last weekend at the Off Road Games. Did you also change the oil and filter in 4 Lug Thug? Awesome paint job too especially around the hole in the hood. Keep on being you.

  5. the bike rider should grow the heck up and learn why orderly behavior is a must in a society to progress and not regress into chaos, and so many people need a full time babysitter.

  6. Just in case, you can use a formica / plexi knife/blade (some can be put into a utility knife handle) that you just scribe the line to cut thru… I've had saw blades chip the edge before, lol. Love your work, & videos too! Thanx !

  7. Definitely great example. (Also liked the "He better like it"πŸ€“πŸ€™β€οΈ
PS what hair color you going to settle on? Sand orange, plastic white, original or something else?😜

  8. Cisco isn't quite abandoned. There is 1 full-time resident and 1 part-time resident.
I saw my truck in the video. I was checking up on the house of the part-time resident. I missed my chance to meet you!
