  1. Excellent, practical review. I owned the Pocket 2, but its limitations frustrated me, so I gave it away. This one solves all of them. And thank you for finally solving the 32-bit question!! No one else I’ve seen dared to say it. 👍

  2. Can you switch off blurring background option ? Does microphone from osmo 2 works with osmo 3 ? How do you zoom in/out ? how does the case look like ? Could you do test of tracking some fast moving objects ,to make sure is not loosing it.Does it have some new time laps features ? thanks

  3. Your thumbnail picture introducing your video is misleading. One could even argue it’s clickbait!! You have an attachment on the Pocket 3, but don’t have an attachment on the bottom of the Pocket 2. So of course the P3 is going to look bigger. The reality is that if you compare the base units without any attachments, the Pocket 3 is only 15mm taller than the Pocket 2.

  4. could you do an entire wedding with a camera such as this? what interest me is going away from gimbals + mirrorless (zhiyun + A7S3)

is the video quality comparable , or is this more for video that probably wont get seen past youtube via a cell phone?

  5. Thanks for the in-depth video! Very helpful. By any chance, how is the Camera zoom quality?
I've had the Pocket 2 and love it. But I wasn't sure if it was simply a digital zoom? It always looked pretty good when it was bright and sunny out, but I guess the quality does degrade a bit when you view it on the computer. It's way more noticeable when it's any bit darker, and then of course it's all pretty bad when it's decently dark, to very dark.

I'm definitely going to pick up the Pocket 3, once we pay off our Sony A7IV, and FX30, lol. Sucks the Pocket 2 mic isn't compatible, but I guess that means I can just keep using my Pocket 2 as an extra camera for our weddings 🤙 Hopefully the new mic has a bit better range, but beyond that I haven't had any complaints with the quality on my Pocket 2 mic.

  6. Hey, Jake. Great comparison video. The DJI Mic sounds better than the DJI Mic 2, no? Referring to 3:46. At 4:37, the quality from Pocket 2 seems more vibrant. Is that the case? Or I'm just looking at it wrong? Thanks!

  7. Excellent Review! I really like that you compared the two side by side so that I can see if the P3 is better than the P2 that I have been using. Now I know what the differences are and that the 3 is a much-needed improvement starting with eh 1 in. sensor.
