  1. PSA – unfortunately, for now, I recommend steering clear of NoFate v1.0.1. Lots of posts from people unable to get it to work, very few having success. Probably not worth the risk of trying to use it. If you have a damaged one from novate v1, use this mod to revert to stock and then hold off until there is a new version that is confirmed working well..

UPDATE: Mysdirection has decided to halt production of the NoFate mod do to the issues occurring with this release. So Nofate 1.0.1. Will be the final release. My suggestion of using it only to reverse the v1 mod continues as it is very buggy.

  2. As a team encoder member, I would just like to say that we aren’t going to leave people in the lurch here and have been looking into providing a release to help anyone go back to stock.

Mysdirection has put a lot of time into this and for many people they have no major issues, but we are looking to track down why others don’t have that same experience. As always, stay up to date in the discord for any progress made there.

  3. I've stayed on version 1a and tempted to update, but worried about all the feedback (also I'd only gain a handful of so-so games in the upgrade so not sure it's worth it)

  4. If someone could come up with a driver that could work with the T2 guns, then at least a mini PC or possibly a Pi could be used to replace the PCB and give life back to the bricked cabs. That seems to be the only solution that would work across the board.

  5. it’s working on mine. I didn’t have any issues with any version of the mod (I’ve tried all the Patreon versions) Unfortunately others aren’t as fortunate. I don’t know if it’s an inconsistency with the PCBs or SD cards being used or both. It’s odd that the same code would work on some but not others.

  6. Nearly bricked my cab on the first release and had to roll back to stock. The games never really worked right and while he would fix some things it would break other functionality. I knew the 1.01 would still be buggy so I held off. Frankly I’m not too concerned about it. While I know that it was a FREE public release it’s just not worth bricking your stock PCB for it and if I want to add more games I can always go the Retro Shooter route. For now I’m just glad my stock cab is running.
