Glad you figured out the problem. If the check light doesn’t come on at all, and you use your gas to cool your refrigerator a lot there’s a good possibility the heat limit switch on the flue needs to be reset.

Hey I got the same attorney. He is cheap but dam efficient. Sounds like your discombobulator switch is bad. Or maybe the doohickey switch maybe? Take your whatchamacallet tester and check it. Cold last week, now in the 70's even overnight. low of 70 last night. Glad you figured it out, but had no doubt you would.
