Just get the Sony a6700. Best camera for all, and a huge variety of lenses.
Forget any kind of zoom video if you’re not going to be using a tripod. This includes cameras with super steady capable claims.
Jus want to settle with an a74 but need to buy a new MacBook m3pro😢

Jason, you're the BEST Presenter and Explainer on Youtube. I've watch many videos complaining about the confusing of Sony camera models. However, those videos don't tell a complete picture , don't have enough illustrations and they are presented as more of a rant than an official presentation. On the contrary, yours have beautiful, easy-to-read illustrations, is better organized, more visual, and complete. After watching yours, I now have a complete grasp of those models and know exactly what I should buy. Long live Jason!

Great rundown of the different models, though one omission that provides huge value is the Sony ZV-E1, which offers FX3 quality in the ZV line and is a phenomenal B camera and travel camera. The ZV-E1 doesn't get a lot of mentions, but it's easily the most fun Sony camera I've used with incredible picture quality.
Wow, man. This helps me with my recommendations as well whenever people ask me. Haha. And thanks to this video, I'm finally caught up with all the new releases, which I haven't been keeping a close eye on especially for the non-FF bodies! Always reliable and straightforward, without any BS. 🫶🏼

Could you do something like this for Fuji? I feel their lineup is even more confusing since most of them use ASP-C sensors.
I do not agree with about the R series, I had the A7RIII which is a great Camera, now cheaper than the A7IV !!! The Sony A7RIII GREAT Camera for beginner ! The A7RV do have better AF (I rarely use AF !), better IBIS and better EVF which is nice, BUT the image quality is NOT better than the A7RIV/A7RIVA !!! So A7RIVA is a very good buy new now if you want 61 megapixels ! The A7RIV/A7RIVA used is a bargain now. I do NOT like the backside monitor screen of the A7RV which makes the camera too thick and I rarely use that screen ! I can very highly recommend the Sony A7RIII, Sony A7RIV and A7RIVA, there are no significant difference between A7RIV and A7RIVA, I have both.

Hey! Im a photographer and videographer for just about 1yr-ish already. And this made me completely understand the whole SONY CAMERA family and its BRANCHES. LOL. It was really hard to understand when my friends explained SONY Fx series, Sony A7s, ZVs yada3x. HAHAHA Thanks Jason!

I own the old Fuji X-T10 and want to switch to Sony full frame, but my wife doesn’t allow me. She told me to go all the way to Leica. Either I should be happy because she wants the best camera (I mostly shoot photos of her), or should I be frustrated because those Leica cameras are still out of reach for my budget. 😅
When 30 fps is marketed as a high end feature, turn around and RUN as fast as you can. Never look back, higher framerates (60-240+) are the future. Featuring it twice I that triangle was a red flag

For a normal budget person like me. I personally think 33 megapixel is enough for photography shoot out for client and event support. Even wedding photos, because no one will be printing a large billboard print size. All be viewing it on mobile devices and tablets. So a7IV is good to go, and I pair it with a ZV-E1 for low light video. Short video shot for social media only. It's all about tiktok, reals, and stories now. Else can pair with a7RIV for photos 61 megapixel and ZV-E1 for low light video shoot. That's me 🙂

Unfortunately, it appears the RX100 series is dead now. I don't think Sony has said anything officially, but nobody seems to have them in stock.
