I'm betting the PS6 will also have a detachable disc drive, but I'm really hoping it's fully backwards compatible, PS1-PS5 with Disc based games
The only slight disadvantage to the removable disk drive is….. no one would ever under any circumstances remove it. Now, you might buy one in the future but i highly doubt if you went digital youre the type that would ever need it.

I had no choice. My 1st gen console was over heating. It was still under warranty. Best Buy Swapped it out, I was in and out of the store.
After the supply of OG PS5 run out people will have zero choice other than to buy the new slim model. I never had a PS5 so I went with the Slim MW3 bundle. Honestly the glossy covers don’t bother me. I set my console up and don’t touch it on a regular basis. I don’t see the reason to do so and if I did I would simply wipe off any fingerprints.
I prefer the original.

Playstation missed out huge on not running an ambient light through that split, moving the lights to the bottom mutes it more… luckily its an easy enough diy with an led strip
i think nobody should place their ps5 vertically because the thermal paste runs down and will have overheating issues

I’ll probably get some criticism for this but the original model is the go to one, the fact that you can change the disc drive on the slim with ease just tells me that it wasn’t built to last and getting a slim just feels like it’s gonna have its own draw backs because those easy to swap parts come at a price and the fact that they are easy to swap just screams flimsy in my head.
Would you recommend this version or the original version??? Im gnna buy one next week and i want to know if its worth it.
