They say if your joystick has extreme drift you cant interchange it because each joystick is set specifically to that controller
In reality the mechanism that holds the joystick is easily replaceable i have done it multiple times salvaging from previous controller that broke due to… unfortunate events but yeah you totally can replace it just be sure pry away the orange bits that are latch onto the sides of the joystick those are what actually detects your joysticks position and once you resauter the joystick back in be sure to have it as even as possible to limit drift

Euhm am I the only that realized that apple didn’t lie and even that the end result is still replacing it
Anything that takes money away from apple is a worthy cause
