  1. This is regular maintenance…needed indeed. VW factory specs call for brake fluid flush like 2 years, same with 4 motion differential haldex fluid, as the 4wd clutches are fluid driven. And eventually radiator coolant looses it's protection against corrosion, and build up. "lifetime" coolants is a misleading term. It certainly lasts longer than stuff from the 80's 70's etc…but still need to be flushed 5 years or so. Brake and 4wd diff changes are in the books as needed, not even miles, but time. Cars maintained last and work better.

  2. A mechanic I know at a Ford dealership has thumb screw hose clamps he uses for tight spaces like that. Hasn't had any slip off yet. Readily available at Home Depot in several sizes.

  3. some of these woke people would think you should do all that at 1 price People with SENSE know you are doing 2 jobs at the same time therefore twice the money !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Its not double dipping you just have the tools. I had a guy scream at me cuz it only took me 2hr to do all shocks and struts, fluid flush rad, trans and brakes, and alignment. Yet I chaged him the book hours. I was like its not my fault I'm fast and i have good tools.
