Have you looked at Canon XF605? It's basically the CR-N700 in a camcorder body so it has lots of function buttons/switches when you operate manually and network control when you operate remotely. Bonus is that it also works with the Canon Multi Camera iPhone app, which does not support Canon's PTZs. The c400's visuals will blow the XF605 out of the water, but I personally think the XF605 is better for live b/c it's a lot more flexible. Cheaper, too–I've seen them used for less than $4000 on B&H. I love mine.
im really enjoying the network attached storage option that the update added. it just seems to work except some computers ask for login info when I go to open the drive
