  1. UPDATE: Extrems has notified me that no configuration of Swiss is required to get the ETH2GC to work. Once you update to the latest version of Swiss, the ETH2GC is ready to go, just plug and play! If you enable Broadband Adapter Emulation by default, it will disable memory card emulation for all games.

  2. The only reason I even bought the Broadband adapter (I was still using dial-up up until late 2008) was to hack the GameCube. I also bought a copy of Phantasy Star Online Ep I and II as it was need to hack the GameCube. I still have that same offical Broadband adapter and that game today. I got the adapter used from my local GameStop. I don't remember the actual price but it was less than $30.

  3. Mind blown
    -cheaper online adapter
    -double dash online without xlink
-twilight princess online with a chat

I hope slippi gets ported too
I want to live In a reality where more gamecube games have online

  4. In the pros and cons, I believe one con is that render your SD adapter useless, since you have to choose what you will plug in the slot. While you have options to fix the problem, it still requires you to buy more stuff for your GC.

  5. Would love to see someone come up with a way to upgrade the OEM adapter for those who have one or three of them already. I really like my consoles looking OEM but with updated functionalities and features.

  6. Hello.

First thank you for making and sharing another great video.

Second, do you know if the new boardband "emulation" of Swiss work with the original boardband adapter? Because I'm one of the few luck people to own one. (And yes, it IS plugged into my GameCube.)

  7. Would love to see a video of what you consider to be the best mods and/or adapters for the gamecube. With how much is out there it's hard to keep track of them all.

  8. But you didn’t really mention in what ways it is different than a broadband adapter. How is it better? How is it worse? What can you do with this that you can’t do with the other? Great video, but you left out a ton of information

  9. Tito one of my two gamecubes is having trouble reading discs, do you know any good options to fix or replace parts for that? From what I read online it sounds like the laser is getting weak

  10. Huge missed opportunity neglecting SP1. It makes no sense to me they would ignore the port the broadbad adapter used and instead leaned on a port already being used on hacked cubes (not to mention SP2 was removed in larer hardware revision).

  11. It might be a question more related to swith than to this adapter: Does the combination of this new adapter and swith offer more or the same functionality than swith and the original adapter?

  12. Hopefully with more broadband support it’ll make the modding scene push to make a double dash kart settings mod for LAN play(currently you are limited to the choices you can make in LAN mode compared to split screen)

  13. Currently I have a SD2SP2 that holds all of my settings for Swiss and am loading Swiss through my GC-Loader. Am I going to be required to switch to a memory card adapter (a fine solution since I've got a Memcard) or is there a feature that's been added to Swiss that I've missed?
