  1. Honestly what I’m looking for in the switch is native 1440p with 60fps or the ability to change the resolution and fps if it is 4k. Some new titles that aren’t the main ones that are good. And backwards compatibility. This should be doable but who knows. I’m definitely waiting till like the end of 2025 to get it just in case there are some kinks to work out on launch.

  2. Next video you talk about the games.
I think Nintendo was saving Wind Waker and Twilight Princess for Switch 2. Cause we probably will not see a new big 3D Zelda game for at least 5 years.

  3. The direct is sometime between sept 18th and Oct 3.

The direct will focus on bundles with evergreen games at either no vost for the game or reduced price.

There are a couple small projects of remakes or simply just some new small tittles at this direct

Do not expect Switch 2 reveal or anything about it at this direct.

Nintendo has one focus for the rest of 2024 and front of 2025.
That focus is getting Switch to pass PS2 as top selling console of all time.

Switch 2 is going to destroy ps5 due to low price imoroved 3rd party support and badically evryone with switch 1 now converting to switch 2.

Expect reveal of Switch 2 in late feb week 3 or 4 to about week 2 of March 2025

  4. 11:32 according to Natethehate, the Gamescom BOTW tech demo was actually being run by Nvidia themselves to show off the hardware to 3rd party devs. I have a feeling the only significance of the BOTW demo was purely for tech showcase purposes and it likely won't launch as a full-on product.

I could be totally wrong tho, hell I'd actually like to be wrong on this one cuz BOTW at 4k sounds amazing lol

  5. Still hoping for some VR side gimmick, like the motion control on the first Switch, maybe needing an accesory like they did with ring fit adventure.
Especially for a Switch 2 build of Metroid Prime 4, Prime 3 was already a VR Game without VR headset so why not ?

  6. Hear me out, what if the switch 2s gimmick ties into the whole scroll wheel thing. What if you could use the controller like a mouse? Like maybe some how you can place it on a flat surface and the shoulder buttons become the mouse buttons/scroll wheel. It might allow for some really cool gameplay gimicks but it could also make menuing, fps games, and camera control a lot nicer.

  7. My prediction:
    Name: Nintendo Attach & Switch
Reveal time: October / November, not sure about release date
    Price: $349 with 64 GB
    Graphics:
    – 1.5 tflops undocked (same as PS4 / Xbox one)
    – 2 tflops docked (slightly higher spec, not much)
    – Later on revision(not at launch): 3 tflops docked
    – No DLSS, FSR only due to lack of CUDA cores
    – most game 1440p60 with FSR and 1080p60 without, with open world games at 1080p60 with FSR
    – OLED screen, no LCD
    Feature:
    – A social Nintendo-verse(Meta-verse but just for gaming) and updated Mii system(more customisation)
    – Maybe Magnetic Joy-con
    – Original idea(goes with the name): extra accessories (bought separately, one bundled with console) via the new “attach” system. Customer can have the dual screen or the camera at launch, with more coming later)
    – maybe IR sensor at dock for pointer games like the Wii.

  8. 4:45 I 100% disagree and this this comment makes 0 sense. obviously Nintendo isn’t going to hold a big fancy conference to for a MUSEUM or a MOVIE trailer because they aren’t for investors. The conferences they do are for selling their system to gamers AND to investors 🤦🏾‍♂️.

  9. wishful thinking imo…nintendo won't want to cannibalize their Christmas sales…the next Nintendo announcement in September or October will be to announce new Switch Oled and/or Switch Lite bundles…that's all folks…no Switch 2 until January or February 2025 at the earliest.

  10. Why do people keep ignoring the XBOX One X when describing the power level of the Switch 2 based on the "alleged" specs?

If you are talking about something that is somewhere between the PS4 Pro and the XBOX Series S, that LITERALLY is the XBOX One X.

It was a 6 teraflop console, and was capable of NATIVE 2160p/60fps in some games, and 1440p/120fps in others.

If you give Nintendo developers a console that has those specifications, they can cook, Jack.

Also, lose this whole idea that a console has to be a certain power level to get 3rd party support. The Switch gets ample 3rd party support despite being over a generation behind in power. 3rd parties put their games on smart devices. Why? It's because of the consumer footprint and market-share. Just about everyone has a smart device of some kind today.

Likewise, the are 140 million+ reasons why 3rd party developers put their games on the Switch. There are 117 million+ reasons why 3rd party developers still put their games on the PlayStation 4. It's not about power. It's about getting your game on as many devices as possible to maximize profits, and if the Switch 2 goes over as well as the first one did, not only will it at the very least get as much 3rd party support as the Switch did, but even MORE 3rd party support than the first one did.

Developers will have a level of trust built into the Switch platform and know that regardless how annoying it may be trying to fit games with bleeding edge graphics in mind onto less powerful hardware, the financial return will be worth it.

  11. I’m really hoping we’re in the final stretch now. September feels likely but October is definitely also on the table. If everything is set then I doubt the typhoon will have changed plans for an announcement at the very least. If anything changes, it’s likely behind the scenes stuff that’s frankly none of our concern. Hope everybody affected is ok though

  12. With patching the older games, it would be such a great system-selling move if it were not an extra charge. Plus, I can't see them lowering the standard game prices on eshop, so adding another price tier along with any expansions might not welcome new people to those games or the system. Whereas without the fee it will be like a sales injection with many people on the performance fence.
