In the video I note that I am single sourced on this and I show the information I was told directly on screen, to avoid any confusion that I may have made this up. That being said, it is single sourced, hence why in the video I call it a rumor. For me to come through and state confidently this is 100% a fact, I would need to have verified this with 2 to 3 sources. Unfortunately, given how the information was obtained, that's impossible because reaching out to Nintendo always results in "no comment".

I would be very surprised if the next Nintendo Direct after June 18th didn't reveal any details about the next upcoming Nintendo system, because otherwise there really wouldn't be any reason for Nintendo to confirm their plans for an upcoming console as early as May 7th.

You said Q1, but what if they mean financial, which could extend till the first half of 2025 since Jan-Mar is Q4 2024. That would definitely give enough time for a few games to be mentioned

My hopes wants Star Fox to be one of those last minute games for the possible next Nintendo direct.

So this new Kirby game Kirby and the Celestial Stars could be fake because of the render for Kirby, the AI images, and the new Kirby character could be all fake. Because I do like the new copy abilities which are Junk, Rabbit, Ice Cream, and Cosmic all sound really cool and it would be cool to see these new copy abilities be in an actual Kirby game. And the new female Kirby Character Polly I feel like she's a different version of Susie or she's kinda related to Susie or if she's sisters with Susie or something but I feel bad for what the internet is gonna do to this new female Kirby Character Polly but it would be cool to see this new female Kirby Character be in a new Kirby game. But I hope HAL does give us something for us Kirby Fans for Switch and Switch 2 like would be cool to see full-on remakes of Kirby Tripe Deluxe and Kirby Planet Robobot as well as new side story modes for both Taranza and Susie for Switch 1 and for Switch 2 we could get a sequel for Kirby and the Forgotten Land and maybe they can show us this new female Kirby Character Polly in the sequel for Kirby and the Forgotten Land or a new Kirby game but we'll see. but maybe in the Nintendo Direct we could see those full-on remakes of Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot on Switch as well as Tomodachi Life be on Switch for this Nintendo Direct which would be cool to see in the next Nintendo Direct.

If they're going to do a direct when they always do with a big hook being a new Kirby game… That means Nintendo will wait to the last possible moment to announce the Switch successor.
There's only one thing that makes me question the FE remake coming out this year: A Genealogy of the Holy War remake would be a HUGE deal in Japan! From what I understand, that game is one of, if not the most, popular FE games of all time there. I think Nintendo will give it plenty of fanfare.
