We tested Ducati Performance motorcycle oil vs Motul 300v using my 2023 Ducati Panigale V4 R. Kyle from Rahal Ducati Cleveland used fresh oil, Motul Engine Clean and new oil filters for each comparison. We dyno tested at GP…

Ducati Performance oil cost $280 for 5L and can only be used for up to 600 miles.
Motul 300v oil cost $90 for 4L and can be used for up to 3,000 miles. 300v made 2HP less than Ducati Performance oil. Which oil would you use?

the BMW has 7.5% more torque so will leave the Ducati for dead on the track , it also gets to its top power way faster than the Ducati so will beat the Duc(k) up to 1/4 mile – proof that big numbers are relative
Great video..I think you need to give this tuner a call… 205 hp from a V4S with slip on’s and pump gas!!! https://youtu.be/1KVVI6LOG1o?si=4fUo9s4IAqcnkf70
That brief look of the graph looked like the M1000RR had like 20hp on the V4R mid range! Not all about peak power.
Excellent review- Looking to add a new bikes either M or V4R – Hope to see you in dc area soon..

I use Liquid Moly in most of my engines. I found the wet clutch performance far better than it was with the Shell Advanced that Ducati recommends. Fuel economy went up which means friction was reduced. Oil life is significantly better, my clutch feels the same with the new oil as it did with 3000 mile old oil. Yamaha Full Synthetic Blue gave similar clutch feel as the Liquid Moly. I had to change my oil in the middle of a 1 month road trip and Yamaha Full Synthetic Blue was all I could find in the small town I was at.
A thinner oil will always makes more HP than a thick oil at the expense of engine wear.
Would love to see different velocity stacks on the dyno.
Hi bro..im your subscriber from Malaysia.. love this video 💪🔥
Lighter wallet makes you go faster too?
That engine clean looks the same as the engine flush, which I just put in my Jeep. Oil changed…
Yess… i also use motul 300v for my R1M
Price ?
Have a look at JMCCSCI McCanney work to understand more about 10:16
Guys, if you wanna know the true history of oil.. look at James McCanney’s work.
Awesome comparison! Thanks iB 😉
Nice scientific experiment, are you now going to use Ducati oil for your V4? 🙃
Green line on graph is mind blasting 😱
so it's not 240hp as what they claimed?
Maybe u could do that
Should of also tested a fully synthetic generic oil to see if 300v makes gains on that
Thought Ducati claimed 240hp, at the crank I’m guessing, is there that much loss or is this not making 240.
Ducati has no torque . That beemer got the juice
It's not showing that u uploaded in the notifications IB but looking forward to this video bro 👊😎
99% of the people who ride on the street will not benefit from the Shell oil and are better off taking track days and riding schools to improve their abilities.
Great content
I swear 300v isn’t ment for non track riding
This was an awesome video.
I gotta get my bike flashed and tuned this weekend. Get this bad gen1 zx 10 ready to smoke boots
