I was in a psychiatric ward back in October and yes, this is exactly what the doctors ordered, along with medication. My favorite part of being there was the floor to ceiling windows in the common area that overlooked the city. Mental health has come so far since then but man I wish the architecture was still the same. Probably too many features that had risks of hanging on them. The doors, faucets and lights are sloped in such a way now that it's impossible to hang yourself from. I wish they still did baths though, that would have been nice.

  6. This building reminds me of the Victorian facility very similar that my father was in for most of his life, due to schizophrenia. It was located in my hometown of Toledo, Ohio. They tore it down a few years back. All that remain now are photos . 😢 My father passed away in 2004.

  7. This explore was absolutely amazing guys, you have some guts spending the night inside! They're must be stories of hauntings associated with that massive structure. It must have been gorgeous during its glory days. PIZZA !!

  8. I'm a big fan of Proper People and they did a good job of exploring this place. But I'm so glad you took the extra time to show so much more. I bet your friend slept better on that old mattress than you did on that hammock, man those things hurt my back just looking at them. Perhaps a better form of cooking stove is in order : ) Good job.

  9. Very nice video. Such a huge place thank you for the tour, very sad that it was not maintained and left to rot. It had vacancy for thousands now those mentally ill are roaming
around the United States. I watched from start to finish.
