Sometimes guitar repair is about making difficult decisions. Sure, the fretboard is a type of wood you can't get anymore, but this guitar was meant to be played, and the truss rod prevented that.
I can't watch your video unfortunately. It's all a bit too pretences for me.
Wirklich gute Arbeit. Beim rausziehen des Trussrods musste ich richtig mitfiebern…schön das die Jaguar wieder spielbar wird.
WOW!!! Now that was another level of guitar repair never before seen.
You have some big balls to go that deep into a repair. 🎉🎉🎉
I cannot imagine the cost of doing such a restoration.
Fascinating! 🙂 Great watching these posts. I wouldn't dare attempt anything like that. That was quite a bit of work.
Please tell me you collected all of that rosewood 😓
I appreciate the way you organize all the screw that came out so they can go back in the same order.
Excellent video just curious was there ever a risk of the neck breaking when you were removing the skunk stripe and then the truss rod?😃
Despite my boundless admiration for the astounding effort put into this restoration, I have to wonder, if Leo Fender was around would he be saying, "No, no, my idea was you just buy a new neck."
Great job saving those dots, I can’t believe how thin the board was. Looking forward to the next ones!
It is heartbreaking to see the Brazilian but this guitar is loved and played and that is sadly holding it back.
Great video! Thank you very much…can‘t wait to see the 2nd part. I saw the Leningrad Cowboys several times live and it was always a awesome show! 👍
Great work Nick! Very impressive! What a cool Jag! She's in good hands!
As a luthier, I really appreciate these long-form videos. Thanks!
Nice bro
Vielen Dank !
Who's signature is that on the headstock???
