  1. Just a tip … even though the deck penetrations are round, cut your holes in a square shape. You will waste less of your core material on strange shapes, and it will be vastly easier to fit the replacement core. I know that i have mentioned this before, but applying a layer of glass to each side of the new core plug will also help … for example the plug that you put in the cockpit sole would already have a fiberglass layer protecting the core from underneath the cockpit — not just thickened epoxy. Glad to see that you are getting more confident with the skill set … keep up the good work.

  2. I’ve never seen a patch filled with divinifoam. Only solid layers of glass. I have a feeling that you are going to fix this again unless it’s under something solid.
