  1. Hey Cam, could it be possible for you to make a video on the best types of workouts and workout routines for rowers wanting to improve their erg times? I'm an under 17 rower with a 6:50 2k (6,2 BW 71kg) and im trying to find the best workouts to put on mass and improve my 2k. Would appreciate it a lot!

  2. Your videos have helped my rowing a bunch! I decided to give the rowing machine a try for the first time for some cardio, august last year, after an injury. Ended up loving it (or hating in a good way) and made some decent progress! I started out doing three 10ks a week before some lifting. Shaved a bunch off my 2k after the first time trying it, pretty happy with a 7:15 PB at this point and a barely sub 20 5k. (I'm 36, 192cm, 100kg). All the technique videos helped a bunch. Thanks!

  3. Just wondering if this is the direction you are going to focus on going forward? How does all the work on your stroke and technique come into play in the beach sprint boats? Love the videos.

  4. Looks like you had a great time. The guys at Jersey Rowing Club are fab and everyone loves rowing. As a first race looks like your really enjoyed and can now see how technical it is. So much to learn but its a really fun process as yiu can all help each other to get faster. Looking forward to seeing you racing again soon #yamsquad

  5. Open water rowing (in the States, coastal rowing elsewhere in the world) is great fun. The camaraderie among competitors contributes greatly to this. However, in Beach Sprints there is too much randomness in the competition. Over trime the best sculler will win, but in one individual race a wave that hits your boat and misses your competitor can cost you the race. Skill in handling the waves will compensate for only part of this. Furthermore if you watch an entire competition it eventually becomes apparent that that one side of the course is faster thant the other. Still it's more fun to watch than flat water racing.
