  1. Some really great points with this video. While it may seem unprofessional, I think your frustrations are justified (may god have mercy on your bank account). It's quite nice to see that at least someone is sharing criticism about the product since all of the reviews and opinions on reddit seem to endlessly gloat about the keyboard (and rightfully so, though for new buyers like me It can feel suspicious not seeing both sides of the picture). These issues you covered has definitely helped affirm some doubts I had, and I know for a fact that other buyers will feel more confident about their decision to buy or not buy thanks to your videos.

In the end, it's just a project. We're taking a huge risk on a singular dude to handle tasks that would better befit a small company. While I'd like to see a better attitude towards customer satisfaction, I feel like there has to be some benefit of the doubt. Perhaps a bigger team in the future might be a good idea? The project certainly doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

But yeah, no joke the website is an absolute clusterfuck of information all found in different places from where you'd typically expect. They need to get someone to help organize / update it ASAP.

P.S. If anyone wants to order from up in Canada, PLEASE let them know in advance if they can ship it using USPS instead of UPS or FedEx. It may or may not be more expensive, but from what I've heard you definitely wont have a $100+ bullshit brokerage fee slapped on top of your shipping and taxes that's for sure. I think it's around $20 or something, but take that with a fair bit of salt.

  2. Thanks for the video i was thinking about buying f62 after seeing how the package is done. No way hell i could buy it. I seen better jobs done for 30 dollar mechanical keyboard.

  3. You made a lot of great points but I personally feel that your delivery was so inflammatory and overblown rather than level headed that it stomped on some of your credibility. The fact that you kept nailing on the same "I didnt make that reddit post, Joe" point made your argument feel extremely redundant and strung out. There's a lot of stuff that annoys me about how Joe runs his business so I'm not even taking his side on this. About a quarter of this vid felt informational and the other three quarters came off as very whiny venting.

  4. old school mod, but I love the high pitched sounds even the errant spring whirr occasionally. have two of them and daily them. the beamspring keyboards look interesting but this quote worries me "there may not be enough keys in the included key set to cover the 122 key keyboard the way you want it."
