Interesting that the 33mm is even sharper! Hard to believe actually because my copy of the 35mm f/2 is incredibly sharp already. What you missed, however, is that close-up image quality on the 35mm f/2 is not great while I assume the 33mm f/1.4 stands up to that challenge. Merry Christmas and thanks for your content Andrei!😊

The 33 has the same magic that the 35 1.4 has, but it’s sharper, has faster AF, and less CA. It’s absolutely worth the extra dough IMO.
The stills look great for both in the vid. You would really have to pixel peep to see the difference.
For the small size and weight and since it has WR a used 35mm f2 is a terrific bargain.
I just got it, went to price went down, I had the 35mm f1.4 ,but when the 33mm was available I realized spend $200 more and get the better autofocus and weather sealing
