  1. pokemon's black and white pixel art was meh. Why couldn't they make it as good as Mario and luigi's partners in time or browsers inside story? Feels like they were to focus on testing 3d graphics with the intro than actually make good pixel art.

  2. This is another thing about gen 5 that I love other than the designs, alive 2d animation, now in all honesty, I love the 2d sprites, but when they're not animated like that it feels kinda empty

  3. The way you described the Unown, is a clear indication that you have never played or seen the Pokémon Stadium games, Colossuem, XD, or Pokémon Battle Revolution, and that’s just sad…

  4. the Gen V glazers in the comments are mad. We get it guys, its the gen that it's currently hip to think is the best and that everything after that is where the series fell off. Enjoy your time while it lasts.

  5. a lot of the gen 5 legacy animations look straight up awful because they're adapting the gen 4 sprites, many of which were meant to convey a single moment in time, and turning them into looping animations. so you have a lot of pokemon standing on one leg and awkwardly wiggling around, maybe opening and closing their mouths slightly. the native gen 5 mons don't have this problem.

  6. Sometimes what makes a game is what they didn't do

I just realized that this isn't accurate for this video but i like what i said, have some words of wisdom that exists because of shrodingers thought

  7. I've never tried to disassemble the game at its core, played for years and still rarely get on it from time to time and I never noticed anything wrong with some of the pixels on them lul
