Pretty sure each Arbok is made to have different designs on each games on purpose.
Depressed Azurill make me 🥺
I’m… sorry, but *how much* for White 2?! 😨
Did… did he just call a gardevoir a he?
This is extremely nitpicky and stupid. Not at all worth editing a video over.
But I guess when you don’t have a real job….
What about Blastoise?
pokemon's black and white pixel art was meh. Why couldn't they make it as good as Mario and luigi's partners in time or browsers inside story? Feels like they were to focus on testing 3d graphics with the intro than actually make good pixel art.
youtube shorts accent
PHANPY
"Zooms in on a sprite you only see from a distance on a low res screen normally"
"This looks weird!!!"
Yeah, of course it does. You aren't meant to view them like this
bro is nitpicking pixels
Reeaaacchhhiinngggg
I mean… I expected something thar we could see on the games 😂
Ok but nobody uses Regigigas so is the stray pixels even a problem?
Man Gen 5 looks nice but I don’t get the hype of it
My favourite Pokemon garchomp was massacred I remeber being so disappointed back in 2012 I was like wtf is this
i dont love Machamp gen 5 sprite because hé Moving his bal-
DEPPRESSION YAY
Fun fact, AU means Australian dollars
I love gen 5
This is another thing about gen 5 that I love other than the designs, alive 2d animation, now in all honesty, I love the 2d sprites, but when they're not animated like that it feels kinda empty
Still miles above the models in modern games
Spiritomb: I'm okay!
The way you described the Unown, is a clear indication that you have never played or seen the Pokémon Stadium games, Colossuem, XD, or Pokémon Battle Revolution, and that’s just sad…
Victrebell’s sprite is also janky his vine comes detached when he moves
I didnt need to see this……
I actually like the way the pixel "disintegrates," it looks way cooler that way.
Also uneven spiritomb looks way cooler than a sphere c'mon.
Depression YAY!🎉
Didn't need to think about the unknown please
Ahhh black and white. Home to my 5th favorite pokemon, haxorus
i think the uneven spiritomb looks better than if it was symmetrical
Yeah every generation's got it's flaws but it doesn't mean that this one isn't the best lol.
They ruined the jirachi sprite from a playful wish baby to whatever the gen five sprite is
the Gen V glazers in the comments are mad. We get it guys, its the gen that it's currently hip to think is the best and that everything after that is where the series fell off. Enjoy your time while it lasts.
Man frick you phanpy is perfect in every way
Gen 5 sprites were being wanted back for years…
He?
a lot of the gen 5 legacy animations look straight up awful because they're adapting the gen 4 sprites, many of which were meant to convey a single moment in time, and turning them into looping animations. so you have a lot of pokemon standing on one leg and awkwardly wiggling around, maybe opening and closing their mouths slightly. the native gen 5 mons don't have this problem.
This is some crazy nit picking if you ask me
I remain of the opinion that Pokémon look their best in the game they’re introduced in because they’re intentionally designed to work in the new hardware or software
Sometimes what makes a game is what they didn't do
I just realized that this isn't accurate for this video but i like what i said, have some words of wisdom that exists because of shrodingers thought
Ah yes ye ol look at pixel art on your HD screen and feign horror
I've never tried to disassemble the game at its core, played for years and still rarely get on it from time to time and I never noticed anything wrong with some of the pixels on them lul
The fact that these are more or less super minor nitpicks should go to show how good the gen 5 sprites are
I always liked Scyther's sprite. He rubs his claws together, like a fly, and it's probably the most insect-like thing we ever see him do in the games.
Spiritomb is one of the few pokemon that look WAY better in 3D and im glad for it
