Why doesn’t Nintendo update the Wii and add the eshop and extend the Wiis life I feel like out of any console from that generation the Wii is the most viable system from that time meaning in 60 years I expect the wii to last for years and years

i remember getting my ps2 brand new 100 bucks off, due to the previous owners failed to realize that the system was in "stand-by" mode when power was on and the power button on the front had a tiny red lamp. i made out like a bandit.
Guys is it really hard to just find a good old console or keep them good looking 😭 my Wii works perfectly fine like the day we got it way back in like 2013 or 2012
If I was your dad I would let you play the game because it’s not as 18+ as I was expecting but would have a time limit of 4 hours
Also I found a couple GameCubes and I wanted to test the games
I worked at goodwill but I was removing the data from the previous owner and I remember a lot of 360s with the red ring of death and i thought you can switch the hard drive to the good one from the bad one
I got one fully working one of those rare ps2's with working singstar set and everything but no one wants it even for as low as 30$

When you check the Miis you should blow the whistle so they all line up! Would be easier to find cool Miis that way!
That first Wii does what mine does. When you first turn it on it makes the eject noise for like 20 seconds and spits discs out too far (it'll spit GameCube games out all the way) but it reads games just fine. I never could figure out what the issue is, I've taken it apart to clean it and it seemed fine. Only thing I can think of is the sensor constantly thinks something is in there once ejected and tries to keep going.

It angers me goodwill totally ripped you off. They sold you some disgusting consoles. I hope you learned your lesson and don’t get scammed as much anymore. Just remember, don’t be to hard on yourself. Atleast you know what to look out for to not let it happen again? Hopefully you learned a valuable lesson because it can feel so Embarassing getting scammed by a thrift store where items are donated. I guess it could have happened to anyone?

I love the editor, the minimal editing style is great and it’s always so funny whenever they slip in random memes or audios
If your wii disc drive doesnt work, put it in the fridge for 5 minutes! This worked with mine, i did this a few months ago and it still works fine.
