Outside of making more money, what is their problem? Just say it's illegal to temper with the federal power grid and everybody that doesn't use a transformer (or some way of separating from the grid) will enviably temper with it by simply plugging anything into a socket. Also, Warranty gone, because it wasn't installed by proper personal/experts.

Lets be real, its great that some larger businesses are aware of right to repair. But until anyone come forwards and show actual effort to put forward the tools/equipment both on a conceptual aspect AND deployment stage, i wont hold my breath.

In your pixel 6 pro example, there is also a other thing and that is calibration of the touch thingy which can only be done with Google tools. (According to the internet)

What are you talking about? Of course Google is behind RTR, after they crash your computer for using add block they want you to repair, come back and, having learnt your lesson, uninstall the add block.
