Great job
This is cool man
Always my recommendation to use a moly graph type grease. It is better for high shear and powdered metal gears
I've checked all my impacts an power tools even grinders saws they have little grease an it's all stuck to the walls so I put both oil an grease.. bar an chainsaw oil works great for impacts I just packed mine with grease but enough to have some space for air 👍
Thanks for sharing, Thumbs up 👍🏻
I always use moly grease for stuff like this
If you can, make sure the thickener used in the grease is compatible with whatever grease is already in there. Otherwise you can clean the original grease out fully first.
I'd say its a good thing you took that apart wow didn't expect that !
Thanks for the real to earth video, i seen people do it but not much of myself. great job on the tips for maintenance of our tools.
"keep trying till it fits" is the same size as my Torx drivers!
Easy you say? I had a few women that way. 🙂
Didn't even know it was such a thing to do! Advil!🤣👍🏾
I need to take my air impact apart, lately the forward and reverse buttons have become very hard to push.
It's to where I have to use another tool mash the button to select which direction I want it to go.
Nice video Jason
I wonder if my electric impact needs grease?
Thank you for sharing this with us, Jason. Stay safe and stay cool
Yes greas but not to much is a good thing
Hi Jason, that's a good idea checking inside. Be surprising what debri has built up inside 👍
I would say it's a good idea to grease it. My impact tools are are air so they just take oil. Good one Jason 🔧👍
I put a couple of drops of air tool oil in the air inlet before each use . How does it work after you put grease inside ?
