Edmonton Alberta, Epcor, water outage -> PLC was hacked. But thanks to our dictatorship, and the media being in the pocket of our corrupt fascist government, it's not widely reported.
They were using a PLC that is known to be a preferred target.
They did that today just to try to send a messenger trying to say that we’re around. They made that attempt today.

My wife works in the “government water bla bla bla”. And they have (over the past two years) been swapping everything out for remote controllers etc. Nice to fix things frome home. But now they have outsourced this. So a private company have swapped out everything to similar controllers. And everything they did frome windows remote . Is now done through someone else’s “remote” program. More ways to get in to their systems, everything cost 100x more. Every small change to parameters etc cost thousands to change… I love governments spending ❤

Great interview, but i think you forgot the most valueable advice. Have an actual backup for ALL your ics devices on site, plus the tool and knowledge of how to do. You have to be prepared that it's only a matter of time…. How fast you recover, that's the win.

This is mind blowing to say the least. Great video David but the "smart people" can't see the forest through the trees. There is no "Grey area". Cyber conflict is NOT "really weird". Cyber security professionals should not be. I have been in this for 30 years. If this channel has shown anything, it is that cyber security is a misleading, invented product to generate income. It's paid title/product that allows IT guys and business the ability to avoid accountability for their own mistakes.

Don't need to hack. If you have hired overseas people, some of them are probably not on the USAs side. Got backs and alternate infrastructure plans.
