  1. A bit of continuity would be welcome. Nine months ago you were debating whether to keep this machine or not.. what was the outcome of your thread pitch problem for example.

  2. for being a gentleman of a few years you have done an excellent job on your leaking seals that tube did have very heavy wear on it i wonder if the bronze bushes had excessive wear on the i.d. or no oil in apron for a long time

  3. Well done Samuel, please keep up with posting your strip/rebuild video's on this machine. The catalogue of fantastic information you are creating will be of so much use to many of us, for many years to come. I think my M300 would drive you crazy, it is constantly plastered in oil everywhere, mainly to inhibit corrosion as much as possible in my damp environment here. This has however now just become an excuse for laziness also. Cheers, Jon

  4. Blimey Sam, 9 months since your last post, you certainly keep us waiting. Dread to think how much you paid for the seals from Colchester. I had to buy some outside jaws for a 250mm 3 jaw Pratt chuck off them last week. They picked my pocket to the tune of £360, at least they are only 3 miles or so from where I live.
