I feel the same way even in sim racing still. The realization of using more theottle when corning and realizing I can push harder. Last night changed alot for me in practicing. I've been being to cautious with the throttle.
Being on the edge of grip at all times is really pushing it.

Jimmy Broadbent talked about this too when he was racing the Praga. He hadn’t driven anything with that amount of downforce so it took a lot for him to trust that the car is going to stick. It feels really unnatural to go to the “limit” and then go beyond it and have the car feel BETTER.
