iPhone 4 wasn't iCloud locked. Reset and it works fine.
It's 2.53 am and I am watching this 😅
australia has some really big issue with tech being thrown to trash some laws need to be put in place as it is one of the most wasteful nations out there jeez christ
With those Samsungs I often use an external monitor through a usb-c dock w/ pd charging to test if it's more than the screen. It would've been tricky with those ones since they're locked though. On the lock screen you just see a lock icon on the monitor as it waits for you to unlock the phone. Ideally with a customer device you can just keyboard in a passcode or password. Patterns are way harder to do since you're using a mouse or touch screen blind usually. With all that said, having that tool as an option gives you more information and a really easy way to recovery data without a full screen assembly.
I remember going to a thrift store and finding a amazon fire tablet although has a crack on the screen everything else works and their wasent actualy a password on it so I was able to wipe it from settings and set it up with my amazon account and everything works fine
My mother just bought an S9, and somebody threw away a working one? That's not just bad for the environment, it's stupid.
can people buy the resurrected phones!😂
The google pixel 1 is surely the gem you unveiled there. Unlimited google photos capacity, just automate the photo transfer from your main device while it is sitting on the charger every night.
Damn😢
Gife those to poor countries like Bangladesh.
Selling old Pixel (or any android older than 3-4 years) is just pain and they cost nothing. So I truly understand that guy.
I bought LCD screen for Redmi K20, it cost third of the price of sketchy OLED and like one fifth of "original". I gave it to my mom, she didn't use fingerprint unlock anyway.
The new EU law for removable battery will save so many devices in the future, just wish there was one for a display as well.
I wish blackberry (RIM) mobile division was still alive. Id buy a phone in a heartbeat.
Something to rival EEVBlog's dumpster dives!
How was the odds of hitting a jackpot like this? Seems like somewhat of a promising venture as a hobbyist.
Hard to imagine, restorations' being profitable as a full time job.
10:29 That's oppo r11s
Thats a great deal for 40 bucks
Can i buy S9 for 40 dollars? 😅
Okay I am tempted to go and get some but I do not have any tools to repair them lol
It might be worth trying the iPad again. I have the same issue with my iPad 4 (2012). If the battery runs empty and I want to turn it on I have to charge it for an hour at least. Otherwise the display will just flash and turn off again.
I think that you can scrape screen from that iPad
