  1. In this video, I test out Horizon Forbidden West on PC at 4K native resolution on my overclocked Asus Strix RTX 4090 and i9 14900KS CPU @ 5.9 Ghz All-Core OC. This will be 1 of 3 video series, starting at native 4K, 1440P, and followed be a more CPU bound 1080P resolution. I decided to make separate videos for each test for those who are interested in how the games at my CPU bound resolutions in comparison to native 4K.

I also briefly tested out DLSS Quality Mode in 4K, which didn't really didnt have any significant boost, but with frame generation enabled, it did add around 40-50 FPS overall. And in-case anyone was curious, 8K resolution doesn't seem to be available at the moment in the launch version of the game.

But overall, I will say the games looks and runs just fine, not a significant jump in quality over my PS5 version, but still nice to see PS5 games getting ported onto PC and running exceptionally well on day one. Big kudos to Nixxes, yet again on another phenomenal PS5 to PC Port.

The next big game I'll be excited to test out on May 16th would be Ghost Of Tsushima on PC (also ported by Nixxes). Stay tuned for that in a later video presentation. As always, thanks to everyone for the continued support through all my videos posted.

  2. I played this game on PS4 Pro, I really liked it, it played very beautifully on a 4k monitor, I was delighted with the first part, I had never seen such a beautiful picture before. And on PC I think how it will be for you very very beautiful . 😊

  3. I mean, truthfully the visuals are improved 100% just by being allowed to go to 100 FPS. That's what some people fail to realize. Is that higher FPS actually increases the fidelity of the image by allowing you to see everything with clarity plus It creates a photorealistic type of environment as you're moving through it.
Those are things that most people never talk about. That's why frame rate is king..

  4. I think with your configuration, this game is best played at 4K native DLAA with frame gen on.

120+ fps with beautiful visuals at native 4k. Just my opinion though. Nice video nonetheless.

  5. Since YT hasn't processed HDR yet. What's your first impression? Is HDR just as good as on the PS5 or is different with any issues like raised blacks or sth? Thanks 🙂
