  1. Thanks for the video. There is a product called Tix solder for jewelry and it's melting point is 135 degrees C, much lower than regular solder 220 degrees C. I wonder if it would work and make it less likely to do heat damage. I will have to try it some time. Thanks for the tips, your dial turned out great!
