How do I access the settings menu if my screen is completely black? Power is on but nothing comes up on the screen (Odyssey G7)

I was gaming in my pc with HDR and the screen suddenly turned off, idk if it's on and just black screen or it just died been having it for a week… go it for 499 not it's back to 899 🥲🥲
I can't even get into menu. The complete device stays dark. I'm nut sure whether it's only the PSU or the complete monitor… Any ideas how to test this without buying a new PSU?
And is there a way to "reset" the monitor?

When I play with my ps5, screen go black randomly , like a shut down. No image, no audio from desktop. After 2-3 sec it come back automatically!!

My monitor works and my PC works, just not together. Monitor works for my PS5 on both HDMI ports & my PC works on a different monitor. Using cables and ports I know work but when I plug my PC into my Samsung Odyssey monitor I get nothing… I’m confused how a display can be such a pain

All of a sudden my screen get white for few seconds, then i can play normally any fix?
The audio doesn't work as well I'm still in time to refund it on Amazon,but if i can fix this white screen thing i wouldn't waste so much time to order a new one at least
just brought a g7 32" direct from samsung. was initially fine however issues seeing the bios (would black screen to windows.. now getting issues where it doesnt light up with windows. find a combination of swapping displayport with another monitor and just pulling the power lead out of monitor seem to get it back up..
firmware is 1016 i think. not to annoying but still tedious for a pretty expensive monitor..
Off timer plus. That worked for me. Had this monitor for years with no problems. Why would it change all of a sudden? Thanks for the video!
in windows 11, in the settings: HDR was turned on, and seemingly causing issues. see if this works for any of you 🙂

If you have a black screen upon startup, the OSD does not work. Maybe specify which black screen you're referring to as this is not a catch-all fix!
Im having an issue wear the monitor will recognise the devuce and play the audio from the device but its just a backlit screen i cant even access the menu

I have the Samsung G70B and I'm having this issue as well.
The screen goes black randomly. Sometimes it'll turn itself back on, but most times I need to unplug my DP cable and once I re-plug it, the picture comes back on. Unfortunately I've messed around with all the settings and nothing seems to work. I even double checked the software, and it says it's up to date. Auto shut down is off. Screen saving options are off. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. It does it whether I'm playing a game or just browsing.
Personally at my wits end trying to resolve this and think my next option is to contact Samsung and fight for a replacement that hopefully doesn't have the same problem. Sucks because when it's working, the picture is beautiful.
