  1. Russia was the first country to land a spacecraft on the moon. I don't think restricting their access to western chips is gonna interfere with their missile program if they want to continue launching missiles… If they don't produce adequate substitutes on their own, they would probably just get them from China anyways…

It's dumb AF to think that American chips are so exceptional that Russia is "critically dependent"

  2. Why does hasan portray johnny as disingenuous? Couldn’t johnny just be a good dude trying his best, making solid vids that take the idea 80% of the way there and then hasan just happens to know a couple little additional nuggets?

  3. 13:25 This part is so true the middle men are everywhere. For example, Clearlake capital owns Endurance International Group, which owns Newfold Digital, which owns MarkMonitor, which owns the domain names of every single FAANG company and about 1000 others.

  4. hasan pls shush if you have no idea what the us soldiers did to europe – like wtf the us marketed the european campaign as sex vacation and the soldiers took them up on thatm, pillaging and raping there way to victory whilst the red army was taking the blunt force of the nazi regime.

  5. I wonder if there's a way to make certain chips that fail if they go at a certain speed or reach a certain altitude? Not that American companies would bother, just thinking out loud.

  6. So…I'm a software engineer but not a weapon specialist or anything. I'm just sitting here wondering why they dont use arduinos or the pi zero to run their computations for their missles lol. It would be infinitely easier to get their hands on those processors

  7. the real question is, has johnny tried explaining to like the intel and texas instruments etc ceos about stakeholder capitalism!? according to the johnny harris school of economics this should work since clearly the people of ukraine are “stakeholders” in a company’s decision to sell weapons components to russias government. did he maybe forget to show them the elephant graph?

  8. Western countries: "Let's rate best countries best on ease of doing business"
    Western countries: "shell companies"
Also western countries: "I smuggled this blood oil from extremists Libyan tribal warlords with British-registered company" – not a news
Murrica: "we need to tackle drug smuggling from its source"
CIA Harris: "But, we need drug money to fund anti-communist militias"

Also Murrica: "The source of this illegal chip cmuggling is us, but nope, we are exceptional"
Murrica: "we need money to prepare for oncoming Chinese chip onslaught"

  9. capitalism will always perpetuate war and will always favor war. it's honestly enraging how it only keeps getting worse.
it's also hilarious how most sanctions literally target russian civillians who are already piss poor

  10. I worked in russian MIC this videos is completely bs the integration in a russian missiles since 2014 is fully in russia these reports are mostly fabricated because the us components are stocks what this videis is so much propaganda that's just sad who people in the usa are being lied to
