  1. I wanted to keep this under 8 minutes so you wouldn't get with mid-roll ads as I didn't feel it appropriate given the subject matter. I apologize for completely forgetting to record some parts like the Diskpart process, taking out the fans, removing the paste, and taking the bottom cover off, but you can just check out my DIY laptop cleaning video to see most of that.
I might have nearly 650k subs but I'm still just 1 guy with a phone juggling all this social media stuff and running a busy repair shop full-time, so my production quality is not quite there yet 😅
I do truly appreciate each and every one of you, and I hope my videos help make your day better and maybe motivate you to do something nice for someone you know, or don't know.

  2. 2:58 windows' disk manager is absolutely useless and is an an abandoned windows 2000 tool. prolly every disk manager software allows you to extend and shrink however you like. It's not HP, but typical Microsoft stuff.
I use minitool's disk manager which is way better.
I guess you're more a hardware person as you don't know this quite basic thing. 😉

  3. Iam stuck on the partition part. You where cloning a disk to a m.2? Why didnt you just copy all files manually over after creating new partitions on the m.2? Iam missing something…

  4. To try save some headache, you can image the drive with Macrium Reflect then change the partition size one at a time with the restore vs moving stuff around a whole bunch to get around Windows nonsense. That's really cool what you have done for your friend – inspiration and always enjoy your videos!

  5. Mind if I drop a small HP horror story?

My mother bought an HP Stream a few years ago without realizing it has the worst CPU in existence.

It has a fucking Celeron with only 4 gigs of RAM.

not to mention with stock windows 10 installed, it had like 10 gigs of free space left

and the time plugging in a 50 gig flash drive completely corrupted windows

The only good use I had for it was using it as my practice machine for installing a copy of Ubuntu linux on a physical hardware for the first time
