Where to buy it?
I just saw this yesterday – it was amazing technically but the design is pretty hideous.
I’ll wait for 6 months and then get it 30% cheaper second hand.

My p30 has only now started acting up (a vertical line appears in the middle of the screen), it has been a great workhorse!
If it wasn't for the van They would have been leading the phone market by now.

I purchased the Pura 70 Pro on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from the Huawei store at Mid Valley.
Frankly, this phone fails to qualify as a flagship device.
1) The snapshot feature is underwhelming. While the vision processing theoretically captures fast-moving objects, the photo artifacts are glaringly obvious.
2) When taking multiple photos, the camera app crashes and returns to the home screen. This issue surfaced just three days after purchase, making the phone appear exceptionally unreliable.
3) The phone overheats easily. As a regular user of social media and YouTube —not a gamer— I noticed significant heat buildup in less than 30 minutes. The dynamic theme exacerbates this issue, causing the phone to heat up even faster.
In conclusion, I strongly advise NOT purchasing this phone.

This is just a cellphone. You have to go and check the chinese car companies like Geely and Haval and BYD and it will surprise you
For all its tech and high cost the zoom sucks, not even close to samsung, vivo or xiaomi. And charging that kind of money for a device without google? I think huawei is smoking some of the good stuff lol…

I was in Liverpool this week, with some time to kill. I first went to the Apple store and fired off some shots with their top of the range iPhone, then took the same shots with my P40 Pro+. Then I visited the Samsung store. The sales guy told me that the top end Samsung was "easily the best phone-camera out now". Again, test shots on both cameras and he agreed, the Huawei was better, especially at the telephoto end. So he fiddled with the Samsung to get the best out of it. We tried again, and he still had to agree, my three year old Huawei was better.
So the question (beyond your shenanigans bonus) is, why have Huawei dropped the 10x optical zoom? How does this new camera shape up at the ultra-telephoto range? From the reviews, I suspect the P70 will be better for video work, but may not be as good when it comes to zooming in, as a P40 Pro+ with its 10x optics?
Still using my Pro20 with my Samsung S23, OPPO Find N3 and IPhone 13 mini. The Huawei still has the best natural colours SOOC. Perfect size. Replaced integrated screen and battery for USD50 under 1 hour after warranty in Saigon service centre. BTW I own the Leica 1 (2022) mobile phone too.. great photos but slow OS and buggy so in storage. If only one can bypass the Google apps ban seamlessly, all other makers will be utterly vanquished.

I purchased my Huawei mate 40 pro on Amazon as well as my gt2 pro watch with 14 day battery.
I used APK pure to load g space on my Huawei mate40 pro. Even though I don't use google. on my Huawei mate 40 pro but since I have a Huawei p10 plus and mate10 pro that came with Google before the sham ban.

Have a very old Huawei phone . Very good quality. This phone would work in every weather condition, heat in Mexico or extremely cold temperatures in Canada . Always charges quick and survived many falls from high grounds . I thought once to follow the herd and to uodate to a popular iphone . Nothing but troubles with Apple. Went thru two batteries, two screens , would not work in heat or to cold or humid condition. It crashes, charging port is loose and difficult to charge and so on . Never ever I would buy an iphone again .
In case my Huawei phone ever gives up , i will stick to the brand . Troublefree and good experience
