Naa power consumption are too high, but most people dont need that fast a phone and that is china's advantage.
It is a cultural tradition of China to be operating self-sufficiently because the Mongol always block the Silk Road for China to depend on foreign trade.
The "free" west are so busy formulating sanctions in a vain attempt to slow done the PRC that they seem to have overlooked the fact that their own nations are imploding.
I'm so impressed with Chinese phones. I'm currently using a Vivo X100 Pro purely for photo taking and it's more or less replaced my 1in sensor Lumix. The sensor + AI in the Vivo beats my iPhone 15 Pro to a pulp yet costs half the price. The Pura is damn good considering the sanctions in place. I've seen some comparisons, not quite as clear and sharp on the tele end compared to the Vivo but it has better shake reduction and faster shutter. But overall still fantastic. I think the next Huawei model will likely take it to top spot again.

US used the same tactics to destroy or try to destroy other nations’ companies be it friend’s or foe’s. Examples are Japan’s Toshiba, France’s Alstrom & Canada’s Bombardier who was forced to sell its 737 competitor, the C-series planes to Airbus.

If there was a war between the west and China over Taiwan – its the US that would bomb TSMC factories on Taiwanese soil, not China. Because the US would do such a thing to keep china from having access to TSMC. However, your post about the Pura-70 means TSMC isn't valuable after all. China has its own momentum. If I was an investor of TSMC, i think the Pura-70 means TSMC won't be bombed by Biden if war broke out. This is no different than Nord Stream pipelines. Altogether – this is great progress for China and TSMC can relax Biden won't do what he did to Nord Stream.
How is it shocking when we have them so much technology to build our tech cheaper because our wages are to high. What did we expect them not to steal our tech? They have always been ahead of us on stealing and reproducing tech.
