  1. As someone who drove both Hummers and Blackhawks in the Army, it’s easier to turn on the Blackhawk lights than Hummer lights. Both are fun to drive but the Blackhawk reigns superior.

  2. Hey from Upstate New York. I’m sorry I’m late have a lot going on I love the videos and will catch up soon all love to Matt and crew for all they do for my mental health I really do appreciate it

  3. I'm a day late and a dollar short but HELLO ED! ITS REALLY GOOD TO SEE YOU OUT AGAIN. I know he's a little hard of hearing so I hope he heard that. Good video, thanks for it.

  4. I'm glad I watched this video, Ed's da-man!!!,😉👍, and its really good too see Matt hanging-out in competent-company for a change,✌😁👍, the terminology used, should be that of the manufacturer, "a regional thing",🤭, GMAB!, thanks for sharing guys.

  5. Multi-sections separated by flex joints with hangers and its a drive line and not just a drive shaft since its basically multiple drive shafts hooked together to form the whole assembly.

Good to see Ed out and about. Us olders need the social activity and engagement to stay mentally active. Sitting in a Lazy Boy or Rocking Chair watching the world pass by or as some call it "Waiting for God" isn't a good formula to follow as its the fast track to the grave.

    Best!

  6. Any time I hear of final drive, I think of Abrams or Leopard tanks. I remember the "power pack" being an assembly of motor and transmission while the drive axles & gears are called the "final drive" because they actually drive the vehicle forward.

  7. the reason why the HMMWV does not need a heavy driveline with giant u joints and axles is due to it having gear reduction portal axles. There isn't a massive amount of torque going through every component like with a traditional 4×4 setup. The HMMWV uses rpm to reduce those loads and torque amplification takes place in the portal box located right behind the wheel on each corner of the vehicle.
