A weather report from Ed in the passenger seat takes me back to the good old days. ❤
As someone who drove both Hummers and Blackhawks in the Army, it’s easier to turn on the Blackhawk lights than Hummer lights. Both are fun to drive but the Blackhawk reigns superior.
Hey from Upstate New York. I’m sorry I’m late have a lot going on I love the videos and will catch up soon all love to Matt and crew for all they do for my mental health I really do appreciate it
I thought for sure this was going to be a Grind Hard Plumbing co. crossover. 😂
I love EVERY shot of Peanut trying to “help”.
You don't usually hear about wind chill at 50°. We don't bring it up until the temp drops to about zero!
So good to see Ed out there with you guys.
My first thoughts when I read the title was to grab the SINCGARS radio and blow in place.
Looks like Ed is gaining some weight finally. He looks good. Great job, guys!
Loved the outro (no idea if that’s even a word!) with Peanut’s tail just a wagging!
some times the starter of a car can be on a foot padel, most times on military vehicles
Any video with Ed in it is an INSTANT classic! Good stuff!
Peanut…the mechanics assistant!
I'm a day late and a dollar short but HELLO ED! ITS REALLY GOOD TO SEE YOU OUT AGAIN. I know he's a little hard of hearing so I hope he heard that. Good video, thanks for it.
Driveline, driveshaft and to confuse the issue even more – often called a propeller shaft. 😀
Big ed back in the saddle.
I'm glad I watched this video, Ed's da-man!!!,😉👍, and its really good too see Matt hanging-out in competent-company for a change,✌😁👍, the terminology used, should be that of the manufacturer, "a regional thing",🤭, GMAB!, thanks for sharing guys.
Don't you carry a shovel with you?
Love seeing Ed out and about…
Light switch is under the ignition switches.
Peanut is such a top class dog, you should have called her Cashew, or, as an Ozzie myself, Macadamia.
After 10 years, you'd think Matt would have wet-wipes or even just a bag of rags in the vehicle.
Baby wipes. I keep a pack in the car and they work great.
Good to have Ed back on board!
Multi-sections separated by flex joints with hangers and its a drive line and not just a drive shaft since its basically multiple drive shafts hooked together to form the whole assembly.
Good to see Ed out and about. Us olders need the social activity and engagement to stay mentally active. Sitting in a Lazy Boy or Rocking Chair watching the world pass by or as some call it "Waiting for God" isn't a good formula to follow as its the fast track to the grave.
Best!
Add a Peanut Cam to your camera angles
And in the UK we call them propshafts, the same as in boats. Driveshaft are what you call CV axles. Lol.
Remember this next time you buy a “ military grade” product.. 😅
Should LS the morvair will probably be 11% better
anyone else think this was grind hards hummer
Hello!
I really want to know how u charge the customers? 😌
Good to see Ed out and about again, being an old guy myself I kinda relate to him. Nice job on the Merc, Hummers can be "fun".

Yahoo Ed
The lights are the switch under the start switch
Any time I hear of final drive, I think of Abrams or Leopard tanks. I remember the "power pack" being an assembly of motor and transmission while the drive axles & gears are called the "final drive" because they actually drive the vehicle forward.
the reason why the HMMWV does not need a heavy driveline with giant u joints and axles is due to it having gear reduction portal axles. There isn't a massive amount of torque going through every component like with a traditional 4×4 setup. The HMMWV uses rpm to reduce those loads and torque amplification takes place in the portal box located right behind the wheel on each corner of the vehicle.
Good to see Ed back in the field!!!
