  1. Concerning the steam controller stats, you also have to remember that a lot of people using PlayStation controllers use a third party wrapper that reports it to the system (and steam) as an xbox controller.

  2. Xbox controllers are gonna be overrepresented on steam a little bit.
With like… a decade's worth of games, emulating Xinput on whatever controller you have is the most reliable hassle free way to keep the controller working with everything.
…until you play something really old on DirectInput and the Xinput mapping has broken triggers.

  3. I thought I was mistaken, but I was not. There are no Be Quiet! CPU cooler reviews. I would love to see those head to head with Noctua CPU cooler reviews.

I recall Intel saying that they had 4 or 5 main pillars and that security was one of them… Yeah, that didn't age well.

  4. it sounds like what Noctua should do, just send them out with the larger screws. But Include a torque limited screw driver. You might think this is insanely expensive. But the machining and manufacturing industry use pre-set low cost torque limited drivers quite a bit. Most inserts for CNC's come with one included in the pack of inserts. Set the appropriate spec. So It seems like this could be something they leverage at a minimal cost. Considering they have included metal screwdriver's with some of their heatsinks in the past and it is really a premium heatsink. This shouldn't be outside of acceptable.

  5. I collect BR disks, and would never buy a digital only movie. ofc there is no growth in this market, especially with only shit modern movies being released.

  6. Totally off subject, but wouldn’t it be great to put Steve in the same room as Gabe Newell for a video? I feel like Valve are the only ones who won’t just sit there saying ‘sorry, sorry, we’ll change-please buy our new product’. Also, imagine the amount of cool hair!!

  7. Concerning the FTC notices, it kinda reminds of what happened to Sony where there was a sticker on the backside of the PS4. If removed, it would void the warranty of the PS4, but was considered "bullshit" by FTC as they were basically breaking the law. Obviously, Sont ablidged and that was no longer the case. I only learned of this recently, granted it was several years ago.

  8. 18:54 steam input lets you remap buttons on any compatible steam input device whether or not it's an Xbox controller.

I currently use it with a PlayStation 3 wired controller and I use it with my PlayStation 4 and 5 controller.

I'm not sure what you mean by matching button prompts, games that support PlayStation natively usually have PlayStation buttons and games that don't almost exclusively use Xbox buttons. But that doesn't really have to do with using an Xbox controller. The only scenario I think with what you mentioned that would make sense would be that almost every game in existence supports x input these days which is the Xbox controller scheme, but that doesn't mean they don't support PlayStation, and it's usually not a big deal even if you see button prompts for Xbox while using a PlayStation controller, though it doesn't happen as much as you might think
