  1. Hope you're having the best recovery possible and lot's of thanks for the work recording in advance!!! 😁 It's quite scary how much the missions change just by the appearance of big players in the enemy side, I love it. This series is awesome, so super thanks for every aspect of it!! 😁

  2. Odd said "We can't pull the Assassin, can we? no." when Collux was in the extraction circle.
It made me think about how cool would a Metal Gear mod be? If you could lure Advent forces into the extraction circle then Fulton them out to capture them…

  3. What the actual is the button he presses to show the detailed breakdown of enemies in tactical. I don't usually struggle to find controls by just going through inputs but I cannot for the life of me find it.

  4. I honestly think that you might want to keep the cannon breakthrough. Sure, maybe reduce it from +2 damage to +1. But you slowed down your research near the beginning of the game for that. If you can set yourself behind early and still manage to get through to the end, that buff should feel good.

  5. Hope you recover well!
BTW some QOL mod suggestions :
    Notification Settings
    Target Destructible Last
    Better Cost Strings
    Colored Weapon Tiers
    Colored Ammo Bar
    No Reveal Cinematics (for losts)
    Hush Little Chosen

  6. Since we've seen both in various places now, I'm going to point out that if you can get it, Area Suppression and Covering Fire is a hell of a combination. Suppress a whole clot of enemies, penalize their aim, and then if they do literally anything, you shoot them with massive bonuses and slap on another aim penalty. Basically completely shuts down a whole group for a turn, in exchange for probably your entire magazine, but also does a lot of damage.

  7. From New Zealand! Just woke up after my own surgery yesterday to a new Chris vid, wicked. Wishing you all the best and a speedy recovery <3 thanks for providing some beautiful entertainment whilst I'm stuck in hospital, loved your gaming content for years, and for years to come, Leshgo Chris

Another supply run today. It went well and had some new Exalt soldiers. Finally they have surfaced, so hopefully I can find some new information on their main base of operations, but we’ll see what we get. I got hurt on the mission, but there were many upsides. I got 3 kills, an MVP award, a promotion and we killed the Chosen too. Securing many supplies, Intel and other bits and pieces. I’ve been told that I’ll be out for just over 2 weeks, so I’ll have enough time to go through some of the data I was able to collect during the mission, but I think I’ve earned some R&R for a few days too.

The way they slither and slide across the floor really creeps me out in a way that makes me shudder. Snakes! I don’t know why the Viper King didn’t bother me before, maybe it was the adrenaline that kicked in which made me numb to it’s grotesque face or that it was on me to take the hit for the sake of my squad and XCom, but I just can’t stand any of those snake like enemies any more.

The Commander saw fit to upgrade my abilities to help the team’s survivability by unlocking some healing capabilities within my suit. It will be a while until I see another mission, but hopefully I’ll be able to put it to good use.

A team that has been infiltrating is the next mission up, so good luck to them and let’s hope they bring the reward of another scientist to help our cause against the aliens and Advent. Good luck team!

Caron: This was a perfect storm. There was minimal security on site, the security consisted of EXALT recruits and the QRF, which was a counter-lost team, landed right in the middle of XCOM’s killzone.

Yes, in hindsight it was a bad idea to use trainees to guard supplies but I don’t remember you objecting to their deployment. What's very problematic is the supplies stolen will almost certainly be used to manufacture more advanced weapons.

I’m not entirely sure what the Shadow-Witch was doing but her presence had a minimal impact on the outcome of the battle.
