2 things I wish rust had:
Welding doors shut, therefore them more health/durability by spending resources so that your base is more secure while you're offline. Downside being that you have to spend time unwelding them to be able to open and close them again.
Snipers having their own, more expensive ammo type so that it actually costs something to sit on your roof and snipe all day.

If you ran UKN roams at any point in the year 2020. You know of Vaniic and how god damn good he was at old recoil. Bro’s AK was sturdy at 500m. I miss old recoil. It was very easy to tell who you could fuck with on your server. And who was actually decent at the game. Now its all gone😢
