  2. Was able to finish the visual novel Heart of the Woods, cute little wlw love story with some fantasy and horror-ish elements to it. Worth the price, hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did once you've read it. Now I'm playing through the Battle Network collection, which are much shorter than I expected them to be (on the third game now)

  3. I bought Kirby and The Forgotten Land within a few weeks of its launch. I finally got around to playing it last month and really enjoyed it. It's a very good game.

  4. I'm happy to report that I finished 5 games in the last two weeks, which is only a small chunk of my backlog but still worth mentioning, especially given the size of one of them. Those games are:
    – What Comes After (a very small 1Β½-hour experience, basically a visual novel but using a side-scrolling point of view), which was very interesting but was let down by some dodgy translations
    – A Juggler's Tale (a really fun 4-hour puzzle platformer starring a puppet complete with strings, meaning it cannot walk under platforms), fun little game, with well thought out puzzles
    – Manifold Garden (a fantastic 10-hour first-person 3D puzzle game with incredible aesthetics and brain-breaking geometries), great game, supposedly has multiple endings but I accidentally got the true ending on the first try!
    – Another Code: Recollection (it needs no presentation, spent about 20 hours), what a fantastic game! I was engaged from beginning to end and it moved me and surprised me more than once! The puzzles were not hard nor were they particularly innovative, but they were fun to solve nonetheless. Really loved playing that game and loved uncovering the story
    – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (need I say more?), after 255 hours, I finally completed that beast! I didn't 100% it, but I did do all the Shrines, activated all the Lightroots, and did all the quests I could find (including the wells!). And the endgame was incredible, so much better than Breath of the Wild's!
Not too shabby if I say so myself! πŸ˜‰

  5. I'm just recently finish Valfaris.
On my first run.. It took me 11 hours to get to final boss and then I keep dying and trying for full 4 hours on that last boss because of my stupid mistake not upgrading my 3 Best main weapon to the max level..
By the time I realise I already waste my currency to upgrade other weapon I said NOPE !!
Then I delete my 15 hours run files and start again from the very beginning but this time with all the knowledge of the game on the first run.. It took me only 6 hours to beat the entire game this time.
The last boss that took me 4 hours of trying just got demolished on First Try with 3 Best Max weapon.
I'm finally feels good after that. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  6. Great motivating series!

This year i'm trying to finish off 30-40 games. (Not 100% completion but at least to end credits etc)

So far i've finished off 6 games and game 7 Mario RPG will be completed soon. Great game so far extremily charming, highly recommend.

  7. The Switch has been a blessing as far as backlog games. I have been able to beat more games in the past few years because of its "switchiness" than I have been able to in the prior 15 years combined.

  8. My resolution for this year is to not buy any games and just focus on my backlog. It's been nearly 2 months and I've only finished 2. The list…. It grows and grows and never stops 😒
